Food is delicious and the pub garden is perfect for warm summer nights. Shoutout to Lucy for always being so friendly and helpful. 100% would recommend!

Came down for a family meal earlier today. The cowboy burger was divine, Lucy Amy and Poppie were very helpful. Would 100% recommend!

Our room was spacious and clean, beds were comfy. However, one day of our stay they had a 'festival' in their park like front yard, attended by probably 200 people.... great event for the locals. The extremely loud music went from noon to 11PM, about 100 feet from our room. Not good. Also, one morning no one showed up at the restaurant so no breakfast. Other nights bar patrons were noisy outside until midnight or so. Lesson learned: don't stay at an inn with a huge bar crowd.

I was a patron of the pub, paid for a parking ticket and still had to pay £155 parking charge. Be very aware the parking operator who manages the pub carpark is quick to escalate notices, offers no communication opportunities and issues threatening legal processes. The parking operator do not acknowledge free for patron parking system. A simple child’s birthday meal marred by this parking experience. Suggest a less stressful experience to families.

Sophie, scott and poopey were absolutely brilliant. I was there to celebrate a gender reveal for my snake. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Would gladly have my next reveal here

Had Sunday lunch here for Father’s Day as it was a convenient midway point for all 3 families. I am afraid that that is all that can be said in its favour. Sunday roast menu- but run out of chicken (despite the fact that we arrived at the start of service) . When the food arrived - warm rather than hot- I asked why no Yorkshire puddings - run out of those as well. No apologies offered. I also realised later no pigs in blankets either - apparently they had had those but had forgotten to put them on the plate.Again no apologies. Very impersonal service, all food had to be ordered on the App. Also beware having to pay for car parking( although can get it reimbursed if pay by cash and have it offset when pay at the bar for drinks- but that meant 2 out of 3 of our group did not get reimbursed). We were told we only had a 2 hour slot at the table so moved outside at that point. An hour later still no one at our former table or indeed at a number of the other ‘ reserved tables’. Probably the most disappointing meal and environment for a meal out for many years. Look elsewhere- there have got to be better pub meals in the area than this!
