Ternhill Farm House - 5 Star Guest Accommodation with Optional Award Winning Breakfast

We stayed one night as we were attending a wedding nearby and our room was lovely! A big room with a big bed and lots of lovely little extras in the room like earbuds, little snacks, water and milk in a fridge, cotton wool to remove make up and more. Breakfast was ordered via an order form and it was ready at the time we requested. The table setting was really lovely and breakfast was very nice. Great service and would definitely recommend!

We have passed this location many times in recent years, but always stayed elsewhere when visiting friends nearby. I wish we had booked in here before now! A warm and friendly welcome from Jo upon arrival. A few stairs to the top floor to our well equipped bedroom. The main house is a few hundred years old and the stairs may not be suitable for all, but there are room lower down. A good selection of beverages and a fridge in the room. A well stocked honesty bar for those who need it is on the ground floor. A great choice for breakfast, with selection to be made by 2100hrs for the following morning. Well presented and very tasty! Mike served / cooked the breakfast each day, and he was engaging in conversation and a font of knowledge for the local area. We felt very welcome and look forward to returning in the future. Plenty of on site parking. If you open windows overnight you will hear passing traffic. Earplugs are supplied, as is a room cooling unit. So windows don't need to be opened. Thank you for a homely stay.

Good, well equipped rooms, friendly staff. Everything provided, including fresh milk in the fridge for your drinks. Lovely communal areas with a well stocked honesty bar. Fabulous breakfast, beautifully cooked local produce. Excellent place to stay.

Stayed at the Farm House whilst attending a wedding at Tern Hill Hall - perfect location as it is walkable. We were made very welcome by the owners who provide a good choice of breakfast. There is a lounge for guests to use, rooms bedrooms and a comfy bed - who could ask for more!!

The website states check in after 5 i gave an estimate between 3&4. This guy has a go at me at check in for being late! NO WAY will I ever stay at this hole again. The man was rude and to the point of agressive if I hadnt already wasted my money in an advanced payment, I would have walked out. The room is noisy so much so that they leave ear plugs in a saucer. As for AA 5 star that is an absolute joke, I will be contacting AA to see how they recieved this rating.

Lovely old farmhouse with loads of character, but rooms have everything you could need. Breakfast was lovely. Parking on site and convenient location close to main roads. We hope to return in the future and would recommend staying here. Thank you!
