La Villa Bonita Culinary Vacation

Every moment of our time with Chef Ana in Oaxaca was spectacular and there was a new delight to experience or see throughout the week. We loved everything she taught us in her supportive and expert way. The location was comfortable and needless to say, every meal was eagerly anticipated and enjoyed.

Beautiful vacation chef Ana was a delight to have very great for family’s with teens and solo people provided direct transportation from Mexico City airport to the resort beautiful town and amazing people and staff great views loved very much

5 Star Vacation. It was an amazing experience to learn how to cook such amazing food and share the experience with my friends. Chef Anna and her staff really know how to make everyone feel welcome and feel like part of the family. I’d highly recommend this vacation to anyone that loves good food and good company

My husband and I spent a week at La Villa Bonita in Tepoztlán Mexico. It was an amazing experience! Chef Anna Garcia and her entire team made us feel part of her family from the first meal until we sadly had to leave. The week was filled with going to the market in Tepoztlán selecting the freshest of produce, meats, cheeses and fruits. My husband and I both felt a true since of accomplishment preparing dinner daily via hands-on instructions from Chef Anna. Each morning her team prepared a wonderful breakfast to start our day. The accommodations were perfect. The resort/home has six rooms that were perfectly equipped for the week. We plan to make Chef proud by taking what we learned and preparing these traditional Mexican dishes for friends and family. We can’t wait to visit La villa Bonita again and bring friends and family with us.

We celebrated our friends 50th at La Villa Bonita- it was absolutely perfect from when they picked us up at the airport to when they dropped us off in Mexico City. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the pool is heated. The views of Tepoztlan are fabulous and the grounds are beautiful. The location is perfect. You could easily walk into town to explore or go for a great hike right out the door. Going to the market with Ana was very educational and fun and it was great to then go back to the Villa and cook a feast with Ana and her team. The cooking classes were excellent, moles are no longer too intimidating to make! We had a great day with Ale exploring town and going to see a traditional potter and we bought some beautiful dishes! We all had fabulous massages in our villa and Ana took us to a great yoga class. Ana and her team made us all feel at home. It is an incredibly warm environment where if you are hungry- go get a snack, thirsty grab a beer or whatever you would like! Look forward to returning for another culinary experience with Ana!

Anna is a force of nature. She has so much energy and knowledge about Mexican cooking. We went with a group of 12 for 5 days to celebrate a birthday. The accommodations are great. She organizes massages. There’s a heated pool. We went to shop for our food at the local market in town daily. Learned how to make mole and chiles rellénos among many other things. Tepoztlan is wonderful and has an amazing climate. I highly recommend for foodies wanting to learn more about cooking cuisine from central Mexico.
