The stay was okay it seemed a bit out dated and the breakfast was okay as well it was not ready by 730 am we did wait and left shortly after. would I stay again if I had to but would definitely look around first.

We decided to do a weekend trip to San Antonio and, after a later than expected departure, chose to stay in Temple. We stayed at the Fairfield in the past, pre Covid, and while it isn't fancy, it was clean, and the staff is friendly. I had time for a quick free breakfast before leaving, and again, it wasn't fancy but it was adequate. While it isn't a destination, it's a good place for an overnight stay.

The property is older but incredibly clean - to the point that when we checked in our room, my husband and I could smell the cleanliness! But it was the staff who were incredible, specifically Tina and the night manager. First, Tina met us at the front desk and allowed us to check in a little early so we could get ready for our son’s wedding rehearsal. We returned that night and didn’t have any wash clothes, but the night manager washed and dried some and delivered them to our room. The next day, Tina was nice enough to accommodate our need for a late check out to get ready for the actual wedding. The hospitality of the staff was incredible and will prompt our return! Again, not the most palatial accommodations, but a pleasant, friendly place to lay our heads!

Booked through ******* and when I showed up for the room, it was not available. ******* has tried numerous times to get them to refund the room without success!!! Now I am trying to work with them. I spoke with Andrew at the front desk and he referred me to their central 800 number. They said they could not help so I was sent back to Andrew/front desk. They will not even answer the phone. So - I appear to be out $200. Calling credit card company now to try that route. This is crazy!
