Amani Beach Resort

Beautiful Resort to spend our good family time. 1hour 30 minutes travel from Dar city and then 2 nights here in paradise. The staff and the management go above and beyond. We had the beach front cottage (8 and 9), absolutely amazing. Beautiful views, and able to watch the sunrise in the mornings. The food was excellent, something for everyone what we needed. Stunning views, lovely staff and the huge bathroom and huge luxurious rooms was perfect. The food option of A La Carte was varied which was very good. The swimming pool was clean and the attendants’sorted towels and beds on a daily basis. Recommend to anyone to visit, I'm sure we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Great property with great views. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The washrooms are also very nice with bathtubs. The swimming pool is also very nice with great views. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The food was good with special mention to wonderful Pizza. The beach is clean and is very well taken care. The only downside is the approach road. The road is literally very difficult to drive on specially if it rains for the cars which are not 4 wheel drives. One have to take help of hotel staff who are kind enough to help, to reach and leave the hotel if you are using a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

The name 'Amani' itself translates to 'peace,' and Amani Resort at Kutani perfectly embodies this meaning. Located in Dar es Salaam, this resort offers a haven of tranquility and harmony. It serves as the ideal retreat for those seeking respite from the city's hustle and bustle and the pressures of daily life. I recently enjoyed a two-day stay at the resort (December 25th-26th, 2024) with my family. We found the rooms to be spacious and appreciated the option of adding an extra bed for our child at an additional charge. The air conditioning was effective, and the room service was prompt and efficient. The staff were courteous and attentive throughout our stay. A particular highlight was the delicious pizza, which was generously topped with oregano and chili flakes – a rare find in many restaurants within the city. I highly recommend Amani Resort to families seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The seafront rooms are spacious and offer breathtaking views, plus the beach has crystal clear water. The infinity pool and beach loungers are lovely. However, the restaurant and service staff could use some professional training, as the food was just okay and the staff seemed a bit off. I will definitely return soon. Thank you!

An isolated haven just outside Dar. Small resort with gorgeous beach setting. Lovely bungalows right on the beach with a pool as well. Delicious food and the host makes a point of making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hard part about this hotel is the journey. The last mile is a dirt road, but the upside is that there is no traffic, no noise. The property is pretty isolated, but on an amazing beach. The rooms are separate bungalows. It is not luxury, with a few needed fixes that Ashray, the manager and his team are working on, but the attentive service and personalized meals made this trip worthwhile. The first few days we had the property to ourselves, except for a few zealous monkeys that would come around the pool and breakfast. We enjoyed the pool next to the beach and the serenity this place provided. Our only issue was the airport taxi driver who insisted on showing up although we canceled our return trip via Ashray. I would advise not catching any taxi from the airport since they colluded and printed a pricesheet showing quadruple the normal taxi prices. Thanks Ashray for dealing with this and for a wonderful, personalized stay.
