Apartamentos Cordial Magec Taurito

The hotel was clean, modern and had spacious rooms. The balcony was big, although had little shade at lunchtime. The pool area was a good length, clean, plenty of sunbeds throughout the day, could be a little noisy at times depending on larger groups. There was a quiet green area away from the pool with sunbeds too. The lifeguards were attentive and friendly. The food at the pool bar was better than expected and not standard hotel food. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The cleaning was really good and frequent. Pictures on the website are an accurate representation of the hotel. The location itself is something to consider as there are no nice restaurants within in walking distance and the beach nearby is black sand. You need to get a bus or taxi to Puerto Rico and Mogan (the road is shut so takes a lot longer than expected to get to Mogan). The bus and taxi ranks are 5 min walk away down a sandy hill track. We would recommend eating at Que Bien in Puerto Rico, and I love Mogan in Mogan.

Apartments were spacious new and clean. As a family of 3 adults the sofa bed in the lounge was pretty uncomfortable perhaps best suited for a child. Pool area was quiet when we arrived but after a few days got rather busy. The staff had been opening up the area before 10 meaning harder to find loungers together. Area is very quiet. 15 minute walk to the beach with a couple of restaurants and 10 minutes to a supermarket for basics. Taxi around 13 euros to go to nearby towns. A lovely chilled break which was what we wanted. Would return

This is a wonderful place with beautiful views. Everything from the staff to the accommodation was just perfect! Feel the staff need an extra mention as all were very kind and helpful, from the reception to the ladies at the pool bar, the chef to the night porter, maintenance and cleaning staff. These people do not stop and it shows in the cleanliness and upkeep of the place. Playa Taurito itself was perhaps not for us but our holiday was wonderful due to the excellent accommodation. We very much enjoyed getting the bus to Amadores in the evenings where there are fantastic eateries.

Nice and clean. Ebbi is a very nice lovely woman and helpful, the young life guard was also very nice, the rest of the staff including the man wearing black shirt at dinner and young lady chef were very rude towards my disabled son, and shouted at my partner, started making remarks and faces towards our family absolutely disgusting behaviour went straight to receptionist after incident spoke with “David” who said he would “speak to them” not good enough at all! Booked a flight home straight after this happened and safe to say we will NEVER return.

Location is good if you’re looking for a pool holiday, poor for anything else. Buses are good in the local area but a car is much better if you’re staying in Taurito. Taxis to Puerto Rico are around €15 and much more to Mogán. The hotel restaurant wasn’t to our taste. Breakfast was fine, but Dinner was awful, lack of options, don’t go if you have dietary restrictions. Also felt like a canteen as you were expected to clear your table to a centrally placed slop trolly after eating. Pool bar is handy although bar regularly closes early at night which is understandable if quiet. Don’t expect peaceful sunbathing by the pool, games room is right next to the pool and is very loud. We were staying in 312 and could hear the noise of the games room in our room even with the doors closed and locked. Staff are lovely and very helpful. The hotel is very modern and clean. The apartments are a good size with full size fridge freezer which is handy. The car parking situation is a total nightmare. Costs €6 per day and you are allocated a space but regularly come back to find your space taken by another car. It’s also very tight parking.

This is the second time we've visited this hotel and it was as good as the first time. The apartments are large, bright, airy and clean. We had one with a small garden which would be ideal if you had a young child with you. The breakfast is now even better than last time with a good choice of hot and cold foods. All the staff were friendly and helpful including reception. The chef, Analissa, went out of her way to help if you wanted something different. Lina and Driss, in the restaurant and bar, were always cheerful and welcoming. We would go back there again. It is a steep walk up the hill if you are not very mobile but it is manageable. There is not a lot of choice of restaurants and bars in the resort but a short bus ride away takes you to Amadores beach where there are plenty of lovely restaurants.
