The pub is lovely and food was great. Nikki was absolutely brilliant, she was aware that one of our food orders was late and was on it before we even said anything . She was friendly and very welcoming. Lovely surroundings, great atmosphere. Thank you Nikki.

Where relaxed and homely meets fine dining. A lovely pub restaurant with a really relaxed, friendly and warm feel in a superb location. You can even see the sea through the trees on a clear day. Excellent food, great view to look out to and fantastic service from our hosts Anya and Karly. Highly recommend the pie, it's a different flavour each time, but yet to find one I haven't loved. It's a proper pie too, not just a lid! The soup of the day on this occasion was mushroom which was delicious. Looking forward to coming again as we always do when we're down. - Other bits - Plenty of free parking Often more items on the specials board Perfect for a quiet drink or a full family meal Worth reserving a table but haven't had an issue turning up when out of peak season The Sunday carvery is also very delicious with a great selection of veg you don't often get at other places

Wonderful food. Waitress pleasant. Members of staff welcoming. Carly and anya were brilliant. Nothing was an issue for anyone. Would highly recommend. Food was amazing and really good value for money. Parking was good plenty of room. Pub was very clean and tidy.

We attended a meal on Saturday 15th March for a meal with my family as we always get recommendation for the windmill and it was lovely! The food was fantastic and really tasty! Also the Waitresses for the evening Carly & Anya were professional and pleasant Would definitely come back!

Two rooms booked for a work trip, both clean warm comfortable with good showers. All the staff warm and accommodating. Landlord has taken the inn on in the last 12 months and is working hard for the place. Chef who came with new Landlord is making really good quality food in house. Nikki behind the bar has an amazing sense of what each customer needs to feel welcomed.

The windmill is amazing …the views are picturesque and the location is tucked away nicely from noise . The hotel itself is just as good the rooms very spacious the beds super comfy and BIG fresh fluffy clean towels daily , the room has all your amenities you need. The bathroom was also top draw , double walk in shower and powerful at that… loved it. The bar and restaurant ….. The food was amazing we had a different meal every day the owner and the chef really looked after us . When you visit (not if when) ask for the sweetcorn spiced soup of the day and the chateaubriand steak absolutely mouth watering and cooked to perfection. The staff …. The gaffer - helpful pleasant nothing was too much trouble really great guy The chef - also very nice guy and wow my man could cook The barmaids - Carly great young girl helpful smiley polite and chatty kept us entertained THE STAR OF THE SHOW ⭐️ Nikki - absolute amazing women kind caring polite smiley the banter is next level she’s the kind of person you really need to see at the end of a bad day she will turn your thrown upside down instantly..!! And this woman doesn’t stop we watched her run the show tending to a busy restaurant and also keep people happy at the bar nothing was too much trouble at all. Honestly when you visit say hi from the Granada boys cos Nikki your are a legend. Will definitely be back 💯
