I have been fortunate enough to stay in many high- end hotels, and this is one of my favorites. Think the Post Ranch Inn in Tarifa. From comfortable beds, L’Occitane products, makeup towels, gifted wine on arrival, the attention to detail is amazing. That’s before getting into the beautiful apartment furnishings, the free laundry, sauna and heated pool. Oh, and the views of the Strait and Morocco from your patio. There are numerous great restaurants within 5 minutes walking. We are leaving tomorrow for Tangier, but we will come back!

First of all - the nicest host. Second - amazing location with breathtaking views. Comfortable apartment close to everything and yet private. Beautifully renovated building with all facilities. Very pet friendly. We will be back but next time booking apartment off ground floor and with sea views as apartments on the parking area, and ground floor, have a bit of moisture issue (not a huge issue but will book different next time).

Beautiful and unique. I've stayed at boutique places all over the world and maybe 4 or 5 will always stick out in my mind and this is one of those. The history, the views, the detail of the finishes, and the friendliness of the staff all make this property truly unique.

We have stayed here probably 10 times by now. Rooms are airy, cosy and clean, kitchens well equipped, you can park your car right next to the building (not really common in Tarifa!), the staff is always friendly, and it's perfectly located close to everything but away from any noise. Don't be afraid to try the sauna, either!

Lovely comfortable apartment on a hill near the water with a fantastic view. The parking adjacent to the building was very convenient. The location is wonderful and is in easy walking distance of the old town, the beach, and the ferry terminal.

This is an amazing apartment! It is in an ideal, gated location, overlooking the ocean with beautiful views of the mountains in Morocco! There is a rooftop pool and sitting area from where you can enjoy the views. There is a washer and dryer available. The reception and tour was great. Restaurants and shops are a couple blocks away, as is the ferry. If you’re going to Tarifa or the area, don’t miss this!

Very unhelpful staff, parking is a joke! Extremely difficult to try and find and no help from employees. When booking it says available but when you ask to resever its always taken. Apartment is average - lighting is very poor and not much space around bed. Very overpriced in comparison to other options in Tarifa.

A very last minute stay and we were so pleased we chose here. The location is fantastic, just a short walk out of the old town and great views over the sea towards Africa. The history of the place is most interesting and the way it has been carefully restored and internally modernised without losing the Moroccan influence is awesome. We stayed in a ground floor apartment so we had a little garden to sit out in. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen although small was more than adequate for our needs. The roof terrace with the amazing views and infinity pool was just fantastic. The staff who checked us in and checked us out were very friendly and engaging. A fantastic relaxed three night stay and for sure we will be back.

We had a great time at Apartementos La Residencia Tarifa. Beautiful apartment, breathtaking view, nice friendly gestures like free coffee, or 2 bottles of beer and one bottle of wine complementary. The terrace and swimming pool are heavenly. We took the breakfast at the hotel, and really enjoyed it. We really recommend this romantic stay in Tarifa, and would certainly choose the same if we came back.
