Hotel suite not functional and poor service We were disappointed in this hotel. We booked a 2-bedroom suite for 3 people but the room had supplies for only 2 people. On our first night there, we had no TV service, no hot water in the sink, and a toilet that would not refill. A hotel employee came to our room and spent hours trying to fix the problems. And we spent the first night of our stay stuck in the hotel room assisting him. Although the hotel management was apologetic, they were never able to get the TVs working. We had also requested an in-room safe prior to our arrival and were provided only a small portable (2-lb) safe that offered no security and malfunctioned. On the following night, we asked the front desk to arrange for a taxi to take us to the ferry port in the morning. The next morning, at the time of our departure, we were told the taxi had not been arranged. They called a taxi for us and were told that the ferry port was not open that day due to winds, so we had to go to another more distant ferry port. We ended up missing the next ferry out of that port and had to wait 3 more hours for the next ferry. This resulted in us arriving late and losing our rental car. Although it was not the hotel’s fault that the ferry was not operating, if they had scheduled the taxi for us, we could have been notified of the closure sooner and have made it onto the earlier ferry in the other port. We expected better service, and functioning utilities and appliances for the amount of money we paid for this hotel.

Lovely visit. Nice place to stay.

It is an amazing place. The people are just 2 nice, the rooms very good. Everything related to the place was amazing. But if you do not sleep with noises…. the area is very noises Durant the whole night. An ear plug will help for who can use it. But the hotel was very very good.

No heat No towels - asked for some and only received 3 Brought an older radiator style heater just 1 Second room double beds had no blankets No hand towels No floor towels Let me share with you our experience with SBN and their stingy an deceitful practices. Imagine getting to your hotel at 630pm to check in after a long day of sight-seeing in the cold and rainy weather with your family. It’s evening time and you’re chilly, exhausted and everyone is ready for a warm shower and cozy bed. You get inside your room only to notice it’s uncomfortably cold. You turn on the thermostat to the heat setting and go to wash your hands and notice there are no towels anywhere. You dial the reception to request towels and the housekeeper brings you 3 bath towels even though there are 4 people on the reservation. No hand or floor towels were provided and the floor tiles are cold under your feet in the bathroom. You ask the housekeeper why the thermostat isn’t working and she tiptoes around an answer and says the system is down. At this point in the our experience, we’re increasingly agitated and ask for heaters. The houskeeper said “she will see what she can find” and when we asked for 2, she said she could bring 1. We told her that we need one for each room because my 1 year old and 3 year old would both need heaters since they sleep in separate rooms. Again she said that only 1 would be provided. I dialed the front desk back and ask why we were not informed about the heat situation and he dabbles around an answer and eventually says, “isn’t the maid bringing you a heater?” By this time it’s 8pm and I’m on the phone with Orbitz trying to solve our problem. Orbitz offer us to switch hotels but we were reluctant to do so with it already being so late into the evening and having to scramble to find new accommodations on a whim which could accommodate a family with young children and we had already ordered dinner by room service. Housekeeping brings the heater and it’s an old radiator style heater. I told her she will need to bring extra blankets for my toddler since the heater will have to go in the room with my baby. She is clearly annoyed with us at this point and brings 1 blanket. We were not able to shower ourselves that night or our baby & toddler because the room was too chilly. When we were getting ready for bed, we see that in the second room with 2 twin beds there are no blankets, just a top sheet. We call again and ask for another blanket and the housekeeper begrudgingly brings another. I ended up getting sick from the food an was vomiting by 1230am. The beds were hard and the springs are loud and the room didn’t reach a comfortable temperature until about 230am. In the morning we moved the heater to the bathroom while we went to breakfast so it would be warm enough for us to shower. Bien placé . Belle chambre d hôtel . Le personnel ne parle pas le français ni l anglais ni l espagnol .. que l arabe . Le petit déjeuner est nullissime ! Et le personnel n est absolument pas ponctuel, en revanche ils sont adorables et les chambres sont très propres
