The hotel accepts foreigners. It's just outside of Taiyuan South station, making it very convenient if you're transferring in Taiyuan overnight. The homestay is inside a compound opposite the eastern exit from the station, so you might struggle to find the exact location - but at least in my case they called and said that they would meet me at the exit, which they did. The room is basic, without air-conditioning, though it's relatively clean. The shared bathroom was not particularly clean, but I think that's more because some guests did not keep it clean. I'd say the two biggest advantages are the very low price and the location - it's great for one night, but I would probably choose something nicer for a longer stay.

The hotel is located just next to the Taiyuan South train station (East Exit) and bus stops, making it really convenient for a short stay in the city, when you need to depart the next morning. You can also buy some snacks and drinks that are already waiting on a table in the hotel (you just need to scan a QR code to pay). But it's nearly impossible to find and if someone is not speaking Chinese, it might be impossible... The hotel is in fact a big apartment located inside a community. I found it with the help of the locals. The room itself was tiny but that's OK for the price I payed. I had problems with hot water in the shower and nobody to ask for help. Also the hotel is smoking-friendly, which taking into consideration, that it's just a regular apartment, means, that if one guest is smoking, the smoke stinks in the whole place 😬...

Very conveniently located near Taiyuan Southern Train Station. The room smellt a little cigarette but it was ok.

We missed our train to Datong, and ended up staying at this hotel in Taiyuan for the night. The hotel staff met us at the station. She was so helpful and lovely. She was one of the nicest people we met in China. It is basic accommodation, the bed was big and comfortable. It was really good for the price. Thank you again.

Convenient location next to the train station. Nice lady waiting for me from my check-in. The room was not very clean but passable, the bathroom was unfortunately very dirty, barely usable.

It’s not fancy, not very clean, but one can see they really try their best to provide good accommodation. And the staff is very nice and does whatever she can to help. And it’s really close to the train station

J'ai pris cet hôtel car il était proche de la gare et j'avais un train tôt le matin. Mais même pour une courte nuit, quelle horreur ! Le lit n'avait quasiment pas de matelas, je dormais pratiquement sur une planche de bois. L'appartement puait littéralement l'odeur de tabac alors que j'avais demandé si possible une chambre non fumeur. Et par dessus tout on m'a donné une serviette de bain qui était sale avec des tâches marrons/vertes dessus. Vraiment à fuir.

窗户漏風，睡窗邊半夜可以直接凍醒，根本沒有暖氣，有些房間標明獨立衞浴實則是公共衞浴，冬天來真的純純受罪，強烈建議避雷！

離高鐵站很近，抬頭就能看到，房間就是居民樓改造的，房間挺乾淨的，趕高鐵的話建議入住

唯一的優點是離火車站近了，圖近可以住，否則不推薦。衞生間太差了，洗個臉水大一點都會漏出來

房間很好！服務熱情！周邊環境安靜，而且樓下購物，吃飯都很好找！房間擺設也很合理，傢俱比較新，衞生間也很乾凈

賓館特別乾淨，雖然是一樓但是一點也不吵，屋裡進去一看就很板正，房間整體式白色的但是一點也不臟，姐姐人很好，屋裡有泡麪，不喜歡吃還可以下水餃，離南站簡直不要太近10分鐘就能到，而且都是大路，出了小區不用拐彎直走就能到

一點都不好，千萬別為了省錢，如果有別人的話那簡直沒法住，我住了一晚上不是小孩子哭個沒完就是那兩口子唸經，跟那***似的無語死了
