Overall - 3 stars. This might sound harsh but there are two negatives that each cost a star. 1 - noise. The windows are not soundproof so there is a lot of street noise if you're on that side. There was also some noise from the corridor and other rooms. In particular, you could hear that loud rushing-water 'shhh' sound when someone was using the shower in the neighbouring room. Personally, I think hotels should be as quiet as possible. 2 - I asked for late check out and was told it's 200 NTD per hour up to 2pm, and after that you get charged for an extra day. Now 200 per hour isn't too bad, but I felt like a really good hotel would let you have a couple hours late check out for free if they don't need the room back. The receptionist didn't even check the system. It's pure policy, which just feels a bit corporate. The bed was comfy, shower was good and free snacks is of course a plus, so if you don't mind the above two points, by all means stay here. But next time I come to Taipei, I'll try somewhere else.

Great location within ximending area and it’s located 5 mins away from the xi men night market. Highly recommended for anyone with family or couple that need more space. Pricy yes but it’s easily accessible. Worth the time to commute around taipei central.

Convenient location, opposite Ximending, walking distance to Taipei Station. 24hrs helpful front desk service and common area that provides snacks. With room type that is spacious for 2 persons. Need to bring own toothbrush.

Excellent location to food, transport, shopping area, parks and museums, the room is alright, the bathroom is great but it’s a bit weirded to be bathing a level above the street where everyone could see you (there is a blind of course, but that means you cannot see outside the street while bathing). They let you check in early, but in return you need to leave a 5-star review in advance, seems a bit cheeky, I think the hotel is just 4-star level.

Location was good. Just opposite ximending. Has coin laundry within 3-5min walking distance. Hotel has washer cum dryer machine but doesn’t dry so well.. recommend to use coin laundry instead. 10min walk to Taipei main station. Very good bus stop across the road that connects to most places we went. 24h lobby area with snacks and food and limited breakfast sandwiches were great! Weighing machine for luggage available. Basketball and airhockey machine available for free. Reception team very helpful in storing luggage, changing towels, providing available cartons for packing, giving tips to locations nearby and where to get cartons. Only gripe was room was on the smaller side. Can only leave 1 luggage open. Need to close other luggages to walk around. Kids playroom at level 9 was entertaining for a 2year old.

Highly recommended and will definitely return for sure. Free snacks and arcade games available at the lobby and the staffs are helpful and friendly!

The location was great, just a few minutes walk from Ximending Night Market and Red House, and also walkable to Taipei Main Station, although slightly further. There were two halal beef noodle restaurants at the street down the road, and the hotel is on the same road as the Hello Kitty 7-11. I loved the free snacks, popcorn, tea, milk tea, soda, and the games in the lobby were also nice. The hotel can keep your luggage for you after check-out if you have a late flight. The only downsides were no daily cleaning, and there is only one washing machine downstairs shared with others, but other than that, everything is great. Oh the curtain does not fully block out the light and the sunrise is super early like 5am or something. They also have free umbrellas for you to use if it rains.

Around 5-7min walking location to the main XMD area and train stations. Staff were friendly and nice, rooms were also well maintained. The lobby area is nice with free snacks and areas to sit around.

Good hotel. Directly opposite xi meng ding so you’re one road away from the party but quiet enough to rest well. There’s free water, juices and cup noodles at the check in lounge. That’s always a plus point and stable wifi too! Strict on check in and check out time so please plan well

My wife and I had a lovely stay in Roaders thanks to the so very friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. I like to mention Ice and Barbie for helping us fix our luggage lock - much appreciated. The ‘snacks table’ was much appreciated - good to have a hot coffee and instant noodles in the morning before going out into the cold! Look forward to returning!
