Hotel Review: Convenient Stay Near Di Hua Street, Taipei This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for convenience and accessibility near Di Hua Street. Located within walking distance (about 350–400m) to the MRT station, it provides easy access to other parts of Taipei. The Carrefour supermarket right across the street is a great plus for groceries and essentials, and there are multiple 7-Eleven and FamilyMart stores nearby. The room we booked was spacious, providing a comfortable stay. Food options are plentiful, with many eateries in the vicinity and a night market just a short walk away. The hotel is also within walking distance of Da Dao Cheng and Di Hua Street, making it a great base for exploring the area’s rich history and vibrant local culture. The only downside was the breakfast, which had limited variety and became a bit repetitive over our five-night stay. Overall, a convenient and well-located choice for travelers who want to experience the charm of old Taipei while enjoying modern comforts.

Great hotel choice if you’re hoping to be in a quiet but very convenient location. For travellers with a lot of plans, it’s also a good area as it close to two stations and gives you convenient access to the red and orange lines.

Clean, cozy and friendly. The building was very antique and historic place of the back in the days. Starbucks is in the ground floor, Carrefour is just across the sidewalk. And Ningxa night market is just 5-10 mins by foot (this is the main reason I choose here) , Taipei station is also close( But you have to take bus or taxi). Staff were all friendly and helpful. Nice experience.

Located in between two Metro within walking distance, 15 mins walking to Taipei Stn, surroundings there are food stalls you won't have your stomach empty. The coffee shop next to it is in a historical structure, nice.

Our family was very happy with the family room we booked. It was very clean and the housekeeping does a good job everyday when they make the room. The staff are very professional. Even the staff at the breakfast was courteous and efficient. I will definitely recommend this place for our families and friends. If you want a Japanese feeling hotel, this is the hotel for you!

This hotel is a scam. It uses deceptive pictures to cheat customers out of money. All rooms are dirty, and the bathroom cannot be used. No refund is given if you don't stay. We paid online. Don't book it.

Excellent hotel. Brilliant services. The convenient location made it accessible to many restaurants.

Located in a refurbished historical building, Hu House was in a delightful location within walking distance of multiple night markets. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would definitely recommend Hu House for an affordable option and would stay there again.

The location of the hotel was good, and nearby is a Carrefour. Nearby to Shi Lin and Ning Sha night Market.

It was okay. The room was small, but it was fine for one night. The window was small, too. If you want a nice view from your room, this place is not for you. I don't know about their other rooms. Breakfast was okay. The staff were nice and answered all our inquiries, even though they could not speak English fluently.

Very friendly and helpful reception team.  However breakfast quality was not good.  First day, no hot water and need to ask the waitress to refill.  Second day was worst, no eggs at 9:15am and kitchen refused to fry eggs for us even if we asked and waited.  The kitchen said it served different menu everyday and eggs were finished.  There’re no eggs inside the kitchen. The restaurant manager apologised.  It’s not her fault at all.  It’s clearly bad service attitude of the chef.  The hotel needs to check on their kitchen chef service attitude!

Pros: The room is clean and tidy. Can have the rooms clean daily and toiletries are replenished daily. We appreciate the free mini bar! Very good selection of breakfast Not too central, but there are nearby bus stops. Near Ningxia Market. A Starbucks Reserve shares a building with the hotel A Carrefour Market is just across, too. Cons It's a bit of a walk if you prefer taking the train.
