Cottage Inn at Lake Tahoe

We loved this place. It was charming! Well decorated and CLEAN! The grounds were beautiful and we had access to a private beach. Great location and complimentary breakfast which was nice. It was also within walking distance to various restaurants and a small market.

Darling rooms , each room different ! Nice little fridge . Breakfast was delicious ! They deliver to your room at a time you choose . Staff pleasant snd helpful. We had an issue with a light in room and they came immediately and repaired it . Private beach directly across from the Inn. Very quiet Inn . Restaurants within walking yet you feel away from it . Loved it there , will return .

The Cottage Inn was an incredible find and truly made our first visit to Lake Tahoe so magical. To start, the location is perfect if you want a more private, secluded feel. The property is directly across the street from a bike and kayak rental store. I highly recommend taking advantage of the bike rental, as the trail is located behind the property and was one of the major highlights of our trip! As a guest at the cottages, you will also have access to the private beach directly behind the property, which offers a much more private beach feeling that we enjoyed. The property is also a short walk away from an adorable local market that offers sandwiches, pizzas, coffee and ice cream, and groceries. As for the property, check-in was a breeze, and the staff were all kind and helpful. The cabin was perfect for our needs, and breakfast was delicious! The meals were hand delivered each morning and were packaged adorably. If we ever return to Lake Tahoe, we would return to this location!

My family came to Tahoe for a wedding, and one of my sisters found the Cottage Inn online. We booked four rooms so we could attend the wedding at Palisades Tahoe. I am SO happy that my sister found the Cottage Inn for us to stay! We all agreed that we were very happy that we stayed at the Cottage Inn over any other hotel or resort in Tahoe! The Inn has charming cottages on the property, and each room has a different theme. I stayed in the Cottage Time room and absolutely loved my two nights there! The bed was so comfortable as were the sheets and pillows! The rooms are well decorated and are so comfortable. I loved sitting in the chairs under the tall trees on the property to relax and read. There is access to the lake, and we enjoyed some time on the lake as well. Each morning breakfast was brought to our rooms, and you can either eat in your room or on their patio outside the lodge. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! There was always a hot entree along with a pastry, yogurt, granola, fruit and a hard-boiled egg. You can order as much or as little as you like. We enjoyed talking with Kelly, the new owner. She's a warm and friendly person and made us feel right at home. The staff at the Cottage Inn are also so friendly, helpful, and they make sure that their guests enjoy their stay. I came away feeling very rested and am so grateful that I got to enjoy three days and two nights at the Cottage Inn. I wish that we had booked more nights there. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed at The Cottage Inn for three nights in September. It’s well placed for visiting Emerald Bay and is a short drive from Tahoe City. Breakfast is delivered in a cardboard box to the door of your room and no one enters your room during your stay although you can request fresh towels or coffee pods so it’s a good choice if you are keen to keep socially distanced from other people.

We were given a gift certificate and it was well worth it. We stayed in the cabin for 2 days. the cabin was very clean and quiet. We had breakfast deliver each morning. The room was again very comftable.
