Stayed for 2 nights. Friendly hosts who made us feel really welcome, good food & drinks. Excellent value for money. Plenty of places to visit nearby, Jodrell Bank, Tatton Park, lots of pub/restraunts/shops in nearby Knutsford village. Will visit again highly recommend.

Lovely clean room. Friendly, professional staff, lovely food, nice continental spread for breakfast. Room good value for money. Bar is a lovely place to relax and have a drink or four. Great parking and just off m6 motorway junction. Close to many places to visit. Would have liked option for a cooked breakfast - pls advice if there was and I missed it. Definitely be staying again when in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous bar and hotel. So cozy with beautiful scented candles lit throughout and gorgeous decor. Very friendly staff and management! Food amazing and room very spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely room with everything we needed, and it was really nice and warm. Also it was spotless. Lovely staff and will certainly stay there again. Would certainly recommend it. Also there was plenty if room to put everything. My sister in law lives just up the road so it was very convenient to get there.

Stayed at this place. Not ideal for me. The room had not been cleaned properly, the food was nice but the service was appalling. The staff are really not interested in customer service at all!! What a shame, as this place has so much potential.

What a bargain! We had a great sized room and can’t believe the value for money, being so close to Manchester and Manchester airport. We had to go out before breakfast was served so they kindly provided breakfast bags for us in our room. Parking is free if you are staying or buying something at the bar but remember to enter your number plate at the bar. Lots of signs explaining how to do this. Lovely owners too.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I have received from the Windmill Inn regarding my recent attempts to book a reservation for Christmas. Over the past few weeks, I have made multiple attempts to contact your team via telephone to confirm a booking for Christmas. Despite leaving two messages for Kelly and trying to call at various times, none of my calls have been returned. In addition to the lack of follow-up, the quality of the telephone customer service when I did manage to speak to someone was far from satisfactory. I experienced unprofessional attitude and an overall lack of care towards my inquiry, which was quite disappointing. As a customer looking forward to dining at your establishment during the holiday season, I expect a higher standard of service. We have decided against visiting this place!

I called many times to try and get information about their Christmas menue and booking a table for our gathering in December. We work local for an animal welfare charity and wanted to bring our helpers here. I was advised by Esme that she has put my details into the diary and a manager will call me as they have a new menue. I didn’t get a call so decided to pop in. Whilst I was waiting and making calls to our team of animal volunteers for our booking I got a car parking fine for £100 from the pub. Today I called the pub to explain the problem and I was spoken to by Brogan like I was uneducated teenager. She also said “if you didn’t buy a drink then you weren’t a customer, so it’s not our problem”. I didn’t buy a drink but I was trying to book a table for 9 people, probably going to spend £50 each… I will never step foot in this scamming establishment run by inadequate staff who clearly have no idea on the concept of customer service or how to manage what could be a beautiful country pub. If this was our place, we would ensure every staff member had professional development in BASIC customer service and get rid the dead wood who should NOT be working in the hospitality industry. Brogan, please seek training on how to deal with customers and know your businesses’ products and services and it costs nothing to be nice on the telephone!

Avoid like the plague. Had a drink with family. Provided registration number, and still received a £100 car parking ticket for alleged offence. Awful parking scam in operation. Tried to phone 3 times to complain and get the pub to have the ticket removed by the scam company and phone not answered. Awful experience. 0 stars if could.
