Loved it! The room was clean with a fantastic view, perfect for watching the Darling Harbour fireworks. The location is superb. While the service was a bit slow, the staff was friendly, warm, and professional. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay!

Good location , but check in & out is slow

Everything went well. We were provided with the twin bed room as specified in our booking, with no unexpected surprises like being given a king bed, which we did not want.. Stayed for 3 nights. Amenities were of good quality. Service was not bad, was attended to immediately at the entrance by the bell boy who handed our luggages with enthusiasm. Was also allowed early checked in as our room was ready when we arrived.

Receptionist are less friendly during check in process. On top of that, as 5 star hotel Uber Eats not offer to send in to room and need to collect by guest showing enough the services standard are low.

It is a great place to stay. There is a building that is into a reconstruction project and can be a bit noisy early morning

In the middle of darling,but a bit if distance from central. Only got outside swimming pool but no heated spa of indoor pool.even quite cold for spring . Service is good,bellboy super polite. No water provide,make sure u prepare yourself.

It is a hotel with beautiful scenery. Make sure to book Darling Harbour view. It will bring back great memories. It was beautiful both day and night. The light tram was close to the hotel, so the transportation was convenient, and the hotel staff was kind and I felt good.

Great location! It is just next to the ICC Sydney. The room is clean and spacious. Highly recommend for business traveller.

Hotel is situated at an excellent location with views of Darling Habour. Bonus was getting to watch the fireworks from our room.

When you won't get a 5-star experience at a 5-star hotel. While the staff was pleasant and helpful, the overall quality of the building and amenities fell short of expectations. The construction seemed to prioritize cost-cutting, resulting in a subpar experience. The room lacked basic items typically provided in a 5-star hotel, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bottled water, tissues, and a well-stocked minibar. Additionally, the room was relatively small, and the materials used, including the bathroom basin and carpet, were of low quality. The entertainment system was limited and required payment for most services, without offering basic apps like YouTube or Spotify. Overall, despite the friendly staff, the hotel's infrastructure and amenities did not meet the standards of a 5-star establishment.

It's my second time at sofitel and unfortunately this time it was not as nice as it was the first time. Went there to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife and daughter and when we walked in the room and check around we found that the bathrobes were dirty and we also found a nail file from the previous guests which made us think that the did not clean the room, we asked for a different room and they answer was that they were fully booked out and only offered to change the bedsheets and bathrobe. That was fine but I would've liked to be moved to a different room, it kinda ruined our anniversary night. We spent AU500 dollars for a nice and clean room and we totally felt disappointed from sofitel. Next time we will really think about it before booking sofitel.

Not the best experience as there were construction next to the hotel and they started working pretty early .

Checking took an hour Call for a toothbrush and didn’t come TV remote control was not working call to get it repaired they came to hours later
