The Mermaid House is located on the northern tip of South Hutchison Island and is 7 minute walk to the beach. Your suite has a great swing where you can relax and listen to the ocean sing. During a full moon the swing is in a perfect position and elevation to watch the moon come out of the ocean!! This unique styled property has a large, private, saltwater pool with a jacuzzi. When you are done swimming our tiki hut, with its own bar area, is next to the pool and a great place to eat, talk and enjoy a cocktail or two. Therefore you have the choice of fishing or swimming from the shores of the Indian River, which has it own white sand beach, or dropping your fishing line into the Atlantic Ocean. Literally, you can have one fishing line in the Indian River and 8 feet away your other fishing line is in the Atlantic Ocean. Needless to say we have great fishing and outstanding seafood. Speaking of food, we are known for our boutique restaurants ranging from Latin, French, Fusion, Asian, Seafood to Food Trucks offering mouth watering barbecue to Creole delights.
