Passford House Hotel

Fantastic, quirky hotel which is decorated last in the 1980s, but the service is so friendly and the atmosphere so lovely that it doesn’t matter. Our room was amazing and the food excellent. The breakfasts were fabulous. The price to stay is very affordable. Indoor and outdoor pools. Gardens to wander in.Overall an amazing stay. We have recently booked our third stay for our wedding anniversary.

I have had a lovely stay at Passford House. I first came 6 years ago and it is just as lovely for our family how we have 2 kids. On our first visit I had a massage with Heather and she was kind and welcoming and I remembered it all these years as a fantastic massage. When she came downstairs and remembered me I was shocked. She is a talented masseuse with an innate understanding of the human today and how to help find relief. She is wise and caring and I was a pleasure to get to work with her again. Massages and stays at Passford House are highly recommended

Initial impressions were fantastic and the service was excellent in getting us to our rooms and taking our bikes to a safe, secure place opposite the hotel, (I'll come back to that later). Our room was up a few flights of stairs, fine as we are pretty fit, into an attic room, quite small but otherwise fine we thought. Very hot overnight, little ventilation, no fan and bathroom window does not open. The highlight was the evening meal, very good food and lovely attentive staff, a real credit t themselves. Back to the bikes, we had planned a ride over to IoW and had told reception several times we would need our bikes out for 6.30-6.45. Long story short the overnight porter could not find the correct key and we did not get our bikes until 7.25 with a ferry deadline of 7.40. Over an hour waiting around for this to happen, we did make the ferry but it was only just, 2-3 minutes later and it would have left without us. I was really annoyed that this communication from day shift to night shift had not been properly sorted, more so as we had travelled 200 miles to do this trip. Ironically if I had booked a Premier Inn I could have take my bike into my room overnight and not had any of this stress.
