The hotel itself is fine. Good location. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Unfortunately it appears at least one staff member is dishonest. We left cash etc inside the locked safe in our room when we went out for the day and discovered as we were getting ready to leave that some of our cash had been taken from the safe. We discussed with on site manager and they have reviewed security tapes and discussed with housekeeping who deny being in our room. However, we know someone was in our room as the beds had been made up while we were away. I hate writing negative reviews but only fair to warn people.

We stayed several nights here in August and the overall experience was good. Nice rooms, good breakfast, great location. However, you are strongly advised to use the safe that is provided in the room and so we did. Only to find that on are departure money was missing from our safe. ( given that in remote areas you need cash we had brought quite some money with us and checked it regularly to ensure we could buy fuel) We reported the missing money to reception and were promised a follow up which never happened. Very disappointing. It’s not the amount , it’s the feeling of being tricked that’s annoying.

As our travel abroad was coming to an end we finally were treated to sleeping in a bed and hotel showers. We were all pleasantly surprised by a new home. We spent 3 nights and 2 days here. We enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. Before going home we wished we could stay a few more days. Everyone were great.

Decent hotel. It was all cement though which I found to be a little uncomfortable and hard, as you can see in the photos, literally the whole room is cement - the desk, the bathroom sink, floors - it was kind of odd. The room could benefit from some cheap carpet or a rug to walk on if you ask me. The cement aside, the room was nice and clean. The location was decent, easy to walk to the beach and the jetty and you can walk anywhere else you need to go. Check in was literally signing a log book lol. I paid a few extra $ for a beach view, but there was a big dead tree out front of my room so it was more of an obstructed view. Better than looking at another building though at least? Breakfast was super basic, don’t expect much. For the price, it was a good place to stay and would return again if I was traveling on a budget.

Travelled with a friend and this hotel was booked as part of the 3* hotel package. It’s a great location but it is a 2 story motel with parking in front of the ground floor rooms. Rooms are basic, outdated. My room didn’t have hot water and it seems terrible to run the water for 15 min trying to get it warm (which didn’t happen) during a drought. The breakfast was good with a nice variety and eggs/bacon could be ordered. Staff were helpful.

A decent place to stay in Swakopmund. We really enjoyed the luxurious rooms, very comfortable, cute balcony. Martina who was at reception main office was awesome, and we felt really welcomed. Very nice breakfast.

This hotel seems to cater for the camping and overland people We were awakened at 0600am, 0500am and 0400am this morning by assorted roof top tent cars, tour busses and overland trucks departing early. Their passengers don’t care and make loud noise and we have been awakened early on the last three mornings They also play loud music in the car park and the neighbouring hotel has a roof top bar with “house music “ blaring out Not our scene as we are on holiday at the sea side and prefer a bit of peace and the sound of waves I would definitely not choose to stay here
