Beside being famous as the birthplace of Oscar Schindler, a German who saved many Jews from this area, Svitavy, a charming little town 180 km from Prague, should be famous for this amazing little hotel. For all in love with the period, style, furniture and details from the 1930's, the Art of Bauhaus, will enjoy every moment of the stay. The hotel, a gallery by itself, has a gallery nearby, for the owned by s committed to the restoration of original furniture, laps, and other objects from the thirties. The hosts were exceptionally kind, surprising za with an eclectic breakfast, many delicious fruits and salads, as well as preparing every morning a small treat, an exquisite sweet dish, prepared by the owner himself. I have been visiting while leading a workshop at the Children's Stage Festival, and I am most grateful I had this really amazing experience in Kopacka Hotel.
