Hotel Natur Akureyri

A lovely two night stay in this beautiful hotel overlooking mountains and the bay. A very modest hotel run by Karl and his wife. They were so gracious during our stay. We booked six rooms and Karl had everything ready to make our check-in quick and easy. There is a huge dining area where you can relax till late at night and try to get a glimpse of the Northern Lights. We did! A game room is downstairs where you can play pool or shoot darts. There is alsome exercise equipment if you are so inclined. Please note that this hotel is not in downtown Akureyri although it is a 10-15 minute ride. I highly recommend this hotel due to the owners, the amenities, cleanliness of the rooms and the spectacular views. Get the rooms overlooking the bay and the mountains.
