Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou

Hotel is spacious and well equipped with facilities. Also, there are many yummy eateries right outside the hotel. Truly a relaxing experience!

The hotel is at the centre of the city with walking distance to all major attractions. The design of the hotel echos the garden philosophy of Suzhou as shown in the photos. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly. The manager looking after my stay is Cherry. She is responsive and kind,  from the smooth check in to helping me book and reschedule my dining time.

Absolutely amazing stay—one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to! The modern take on Suzhou gardens was the original reason why I booked this place and it did not disappoint! Got a surprise upgrade to a larger room with a serene backyard, perfect for soaking in the tub with open backyard door enjoying Suzhou’s incredible January weather (a treat coming from much colder climates). The staff were super professional and attentive, and the WeChat concierge service (shout out to Vickey!) was so helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough, it is a must stay if you're ever in suzhou!

The spacious rooms, complete with balconies, make it an ideal retreat for guests seeking a perfect mix of comfort, style, and cultural immersion. What’s even better is the complimentary high tea and morning coffee served to all guests, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, with special thanks to Rainbow (our WeChat conversation), who went above and beyond to assist my family. She selflessly used her own Didi account to help us book a car to Pudong Airport, making our experience truly memorable. We’re incredibly grateful for her dedication and kindness.

Hotel was beautiful, everything was clean, all staff were so polite, helpful and nice! All the amenities were fantastic, the slippers were especially comfortable and body lotion was great (we bought a bottle afterwards)! Hotel lobby was beautiful with all the Christmas decorations and everything smelled nice (they even had diffusers inside the lifts). Hotel breakfast was quite good too with some Suzhou specialities like noodles, and a mix of western and Chinese varieties. We had a room with balcony and it was beautiful in the morning with the sunlight coming through, was also great to sit there to get some fresh air! Another special mention to all the staff, they carried our luggage to/from car, always opened the door for us, answered all our questions with patience! My parents also loved the bathtub where they could relax after a day out!
