Bed in dormitory. Shared toilets and showers. Very Central in the old city. Close to many shops. The owner speaks very good English. There is a very nice dog. Cold beers and breakfast available. Wi-Fi is good. Etc.

It was a great experience. The hostel is very easy to find. The hostess at the front desk speaks English very well and was very nice and friendly. I have stayed in a 4 beds female room for one night. The room was great, it provided sleepers, sheets and even had air conditionning. The showers are okay. The good point was having products in the shower : shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash and even a cleanser for the face ! It was very calm the night that I have stayed. The common space is nice and cozy. I didn't but you can order drinks or brekfast there. It is close to the subway, just a few steps from the bus stop, there a plenty of restaurants in the street and a supermarket across the road. I highly recommend this hostel.

Generally, everything is perfect, the host is very nice. She can speak English and help us to book tickets. The room for 3 people looks clean and tidy. The view is great. The location is convenient. The price is good! The only bad point is the restroom: a little bad smell from it and the water got a bit stuck when taking shower, and no toilet paper😔 Hope the host can renovate in the future Will back if have chance to travel this city one more time😁

It's a family run hostel. Room is clean. There's a free laundry provided. The location is good. Walking distance to the metro. 10 min walk to Pingjiang street. There are quite a number of eateries nearby. Guests are always greeted by the owner's dog at the door.

My experience has been incredible because the hostel I’m staying at feels like home. The staff is incredibly friendly, warm, and always willing to help. Everything is extremely well-organized, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The location couldn’t be better—it’s just a short walk to both the subway and bus stations, making it super convenient to get around the city. On top of all that, the prices are very affordable, but the quality of service is top-notch. For such a reasonable price, they really go above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—it’s truly a hidden gem

The location was absolutely perfect, I barely used the subway because everything was in a walkable or bike-able distance. It's also pretty close to a subway station. The service was extremely warm and kind, I was able to leave my bag at the lobby before checking in and after checking out. The lobby space was also nice to hang around. The rooms are great for the price, very clean and also very quiet at night. Overall a great experience as a solo traveler for a great price! Would love to visit again sometime.

The owner was very sweet and went out of her way be helpful whenever I had any questions or wanted advice about where to go. Everything is clean and cozy and they have self-serve laundry available on site.

The location was pretty convenient, being only a five minute walk from one of the metro stations and very close proximity to Pingjiang St. The place felt a bit tired , but honest. At times, the bathroom did smell bad like sewage. However, there was a door which helped it not get into the bedroom.The shower also took some time to heat up (Up to 5 minutes). But it's important to remember that the accomodation was very affordable. The host was very kind to us and made some great recommendations and was friendly and had a cute dog. We would consider staying here again!

friend staff speaks excellent English, she was very helpful with all the suggestions about attractions and food. Dorm bed is comfy and bathroom are clean,there is a mini bar in the lobby, varieties of beers are very affordable price, breakfast was also good, best banana pancake I've ever had in China. Would highly recommended.

Easy access from the high speed rail station. Location is excellent. Close to the landmarks of Suzhou. Comfortable. Good value for money.

This is a great budget option hostel style accommodation in a charming location. I had a private room with bathroom that looked over the leafy ginkgo trees. Its a very short walk to Pingjiang Road and many eating options. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. There are stairs to the private rooms, which are a bit hard if you’re older with heavy bags, but the excellent manager offered to help me bring my bag up and down. It’s good to see that there are still some of these little hostels operating in Shanghai.

Stayed 4 nights in dorm room Expectation/Reality: the room was not the same as the picture. Although after 2 nights I was offered to change to the rooms which matched the pictures. Security: the initial room had low security. Open dorm and the lockers were easily opened. Not secure without additional precautions. Hygiene: average for Chinese hostel, generally okay and acceptable. Not great, but not terrible. Hospitality: seems like one person is responsible for everything. She was very responsive and nice. Social Atmosphere: okay area to socialize but no obvious hostel organized activities. Space is good however, board games, beers and coffee available. Overall, the location is the main selling point, close to a convenient metro and to many attractions. Average on comfort, low on security, generally adequate for a short term stay.

Super location close to Metro line 1, Lindenlou station. Walking distance to lots of sights,and lots of places to eat. Very friendly lady on reception and drinks fridge. Excellent value for money.
