Gusu yard Jingyitang Branch

It was such a cute hotel. I lived the little entrance quite traditional Chinese little garden. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was so big, we even had a whole terasse for ourselves with a little bamboo garden. Also location is very convenient and pretty with a lot of restaurants and café. I would definitely go back here when I am back in Suzhou.

It’s a great stay, comfortable and cosy. Nearby to all the tourist attractions places. Good location too.

It is a nice place, even if it is on the smaller side. It’s perfect for short stays and in a great location. My only complaint would be that it was very noisy early in the morning when they’re cleaning the other rooms or walking up the stairs. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place.

This minsu really still keeping the old building. Cleanliness are good, and especially the staffs, very very very good service and friendly. I would like to applaus for all of the staffs including cleaners. The cleaner even cooked us noodle during typhoon day without charging us any extra fees because we couldnt go out to get food and the food delivery also stopped because of the typhoon strikes. Everyone there are really nice and great! Big round of applaus!

This was, without a doubt, my best stay during my trip to Jiangnan. The service was exceptional. All the staff were incredibly friendly and warm, and we truly felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. A special mention to the receptionist, who even personally brought our delivery parcels to our room—such a thoughtful touch! Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked breakfast. We mentioned that we weren’t used to their 糯米玉米, and they kindly prepared 水果玉米 for us the next day. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really made our stay memorable. Our duplex room was massive and spotless, with a beautiful courtyard just outside. We had breakfast there every morning—it was the perfect spot, so relaxing and peaceful. Although it did take a little longer for the hot water to come through due to the older plumbing, it didn’t bother us much at all since everything else was so wonderful. The location is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, situated in a more tranquil area near Pingjiang Road. It’s easy to navigate and explore, yet far enough from the busy tourist spots to enjoy the serene atmosphere. Overall, it was the best stay we had, and it completely won us over to Suzhou. We’re already looking forward to returning!
