Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou anmeldelser

Great location. Right across the street of A subway station. Very well maintained Property. The room is very clean. Thanks to our housekeeper 郭云兰.  I’ve been travel around Europe since February and this one is on top of my list. Not only service wise, but also price wise.  Thank you very much  Love Violet Wang

Great hotel to stay. Will stay again when I am back in Suzhou.

Good location opposite a mall. Breakfast had good spread. Room is spacious and clean. Slightly old furnitures but overall had a good and pleasant stay.

The hotel is acceptable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is older, as evidenced by the carpets, tiles, fixtures, and furniture. However, it is clean. Although we booked rooms on the non-smoking floor, there was unfortunately a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, Apple Pay is not accepted; only cash or physical Visa cards are accepted. Breakfast was okay, but the selection was not as extensive as we had expected. Overall, the stay was okay, but considering it’s the Shangri-La, it was somewhat disappointing.

Fabulous location, hotel is dated inside out but service is pretty good.

Had a great overnight stay. Very convenient and comfortable. Abel Chen and Hugh Qi were extremely helpful in arranging our transportation in and out of Suzhou.

Shangri-la Suzhou, is my best choice when I visited Suzhou.

The overall services are excellent. Peter (Concierge) is a very nice guy and helpfull. Also appreciate very much the friendly approach from David (Duty Manager) and Alan (Concierge). The birthday treats from hotel really make up my day😊

The hotel was pretty full on the day that we arrived.  The room was not ready as planned.  Ivy, a staff at front desk (position is unknown) took a bold decision to upgrade my room to a suite which sized comfortably and more important that it was clean to stay in. Ivy handled the embarrassing situation well and left no room for complain. I would recommend the hotel; and I myself will stay in the same hotel if I have a chance of visiting Suzhou again.

The room is very spacious. The hotel room is clean. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

The third stay for me in this hotel. I keep coming back because everything works very well here. The staff is friendly and professional. Location is great, there is a big shopping mall across the street and metro lines 3 and 1 are also nearby. I liked the large breakfast buffet, especially the noodle station. The room was maybe a bit old but large and quiet. Excellent price/quality.

The most incredible service to date in 20years of China hotel stays. Extremely friendly staff, great English and attention to detail. 10/5 stars for service. Breakfast buffet also good. The only very small issue was the rooms didn’t have plugs on side of bed to charge phone. Lovely hotel, amazing service and highly recommended to others. To management just would politely suggest to and plugs on each side of bed so can charge phones, it’s not 1995 anymore and everyone has devices to charge.
