Absolutely loved this hotel — highly recommended for anyone visiting Suzhou. It beautifully combines traditional Jiangnan palace-style architecture, serene classical gardens, meandering canals, and Ming–Qing dynasty cultural elements with modern-day comfort and hospitality.

The hotel is amazing! Beautifully decorated lay out both inside and around the compound. There were 4 restaurants and I tried their beef noodles, which was some of the best I've ever had. The breakfast selection was nice. The room was also nice and simple. This is definitely a beautiful spot all year round.

Unique style of the hotel is a great reason to stay as an experience. Though not much contact with staff given the general crowdedness over a weekend hence unable to evaluate, though the limited staff we encountered were great and courteous. Lighting controls in the 2BR we stayed were abit weird, either the design or outdated wiring - family in BR1 could switch on lights in BR2 and vv.

Nice garden in the hotel and right next to Pan Men. I was allocated a room facing the pool and it was very noisy but thankful they helped to switch my room.

it was a great experience staying here. there are countless things to do, food, golf, swim, sightsee, all within the compound. the breakfast had a lot of variety. the place was nice with tones of rooms. we will come back here again next time. :)

The hotel itself is also an attraction in Suzhou. There is a huge “Yuan Lin” in the hotel premises. Strong shower power, separate shower space from the bathtub. So 2 person can shower at the same time. Although the shower door is not as tight and water would leak out leading to wet bathroom floor. Comfortable bed also. Service is good. Can get robot to deliver your food delivery. Although do note the free dryer is a bit weak. Can’t dry your clothes. Even after 5 hours in the dryer. Still not dry. Another thing good is they also have traditional costume photoshoot available in the hotel. If you don’t want to spend the money there is a free 60 minutes experience of renting to wear the traditional costume and walk around the premises for photo taking (self). Although no makeup and styling. But beware, one of the female manager is super money faced and would keep ask you to spend and top up money. If you don’t, her attitude flips 180 degree.

Was a really enjoyable fun experience! We extended our stay there. Unfortunately location is kind of far from other attractions.

You NEED to go to this hotel. This exceeded all of our expectations, especially bc of : the incredible, huge garden including amazing places, the really kind service. Please when you arrive book your Hanfu/cheongsam experience, one waiter told me it wasn't needed and the other yes. The cruise ship was at 55 ¥. The Hanfu experience was really good but for the free 1-hour version you have little choice and very basic hanfus. In the end to get an excellent result we ended up paying around 120 USD for 35 edited pictures, which i feel was more to attract people. Cleaning service was really good and kind. Water always provided. The soaps/shampoos smelled so good and were soft. The breakfast was good in my opinion with various choice.

The place is huge. The route to hotel room is like a mini maze 😂. Room is nice with a garden view. Breakfast area is great and with many varieties to choose from. It will be great if they could provide kids bedroom slippers and toothbrush. They can do more like sweeping the rain water at the area outside the lobby where guests are waiting for the transport. It was raining and the water was somehow like flooding the area. May need to consider building a shelter instead of having 2 temporary shelter when guests walk out from the lobby.

Friendly staff very helpful, room is big and clean. Overall value for money and will recommend to friends, definitely will come again.

First off I will say that this is not just a hotel, it is like a whole mini residence with inside-outside pool, 2 big tourist attractions (one scentic view and a pagoda), restaurants, shops, etc. It is very luxurious for the price but also it is a very old although well maintained building. You will see a lot of singaporeans, especially on the weekends. One thing I would say is if you can, pick a room on the 3rd floor or above. Windows do not open fully so it is hard to air out the room on the ground floor. You have all necessities, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, iron, a laundry room, etc. Breakfast and honestly all meals are really really extravagant. Free hanfu service (not including makeup) and lots of beautiful places for photos and history. The italian restaurant inside was also very delicious. We traveled as a couple but there were a lot of families staying here as well.

Amazing hotel with very friendly staff. Very clean and great water pressure in the showers! Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway for locals as well as for tourists on holiday!

At first, I thought the hotel would be like any typical five star hotel. However, the moment we stepped inside, I was transported to old Suzhou by the hotel’s stunning, grand, and magnificent architecture. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Elena, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible room and experience. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully blended Suzhou-style elements. All the staff were professional, kind, and helpful. An amazing feature was the easy access to the Pan Scenic area located right next to the hotel. Even after our trip, we still talk about how amazing the hotel was. Thank you, Pan Pacific and Elena, for making our visit to Suzhou truly magical. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back again!
