A super luxurious hotel with a view of the lake in Suzhou. No complains at all. Breakfast was amazing. Though I didn’t get to spend much time in the room, I wish I did. Simply amazing!

I recently stayed at InterContinental Suzhou and had an amazing experience. The moment I walked in, the lobby was inviting. What truly made my stay exceptional was Jennifer at the front desk. She greeted me with a warm smile, handled my check - in swiftly, and offered great local tips. Her professionalism and friendliness left a wonderful impression. I'll surely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

It was fabulous stay at Intercontinental Suzhou with my family. This was very first travel for our 10month old little baby and he really enjoyed it. Hotel is well located just lakeside of Jinji lake, all of their crews provided us a warm, thoughtful and perfect services. Especially their housekeeper Jennifer who added my WeChat in advance, which allowing us to have efficient communications and she can nearly cover all of our requirement just in a second, incredible!

The location is wonderful. Did a night walk by e lake, and it was soooo therapeutic! Malls are walking distance too, with many iconic malls aroubd (eg: times square and eslite bookstore) Most importantly, the hotel is huge, beautiful and private, with an amazing view. Check-in was a breeze and special shoutout to Fiona Liu. Her service was fantastic, and she even gave me tips on Jinji Lake. Thanks to her, I had a super amazing time in the hotel. Even though I am a solo traveller, the experience was so awesome that I can't wait to bring my loved ones with me to experience the wonderful place and hospitality again!

Very Clean and the king room has a large room with a good view of the lake

Excellent location, surrounded by restaurants and shops, and facing the lake boardwalk. The hotel is solid and traditional in its style, typical of the decade it was constructed. Front staff spoke English, they were polite, however, I was annoyed as they didn’t have my room available till 16:30, only smoking rooms were available earlier, surprised this brand has those rooms types available in 2024! Nevertheless, they upgraded me, and left fruit in the room. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, view was stunning and the round bath tub was ginormous! Breakfast was ok, not as extensive as other InterContinentals, but sufficient. Swimming pool is massive, and open till 23:00, which I’m grateful for. They are slow in releasing the deposit which should be credited on checkout, I didn’t receive it till the following day, that is not acceptable. So some minor issues but overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is in general excellent. We were also given an upgrade. The view over the lake is brilliant. The food in the buffets is very good, and the Riva steakhouse is very good. Plenty of shops close by for convenience! We would like to come back!

The view is wonderful, you can see the mall and lake! The service is the best I have seen yet, they also have great food options.

This hotel most certainly did not disappoint, the stay was extremely pleasant and the views were spectacular. The hotel staff were fantastic and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Kyle, for example was professional during the check in process and patiently answered questions. I initially booked the ‘King Premium Jinji Lake View’ room, however, he kindly upgraded my room for free so that I could have a better view of both Jinji lake and the city, which was stunning. The housekeeper was attentive and did an excellent job in maintaining the cleanliness of the room. The room service team were also accommodating of special requests to meet my dietary needs. Although there was some minor dissatisfaction with temperature of food being served, what stood out to me was their receptiveness of feedback and how they provided instant solutions. Overall, the staff working here demonstrated utmost professionalism and are an asset to the hotel.
