Big & comfortable room. Quiet even though it located at Ping Jiang Road. Very convenient to walk around there. Breakfast is nice.

The hotel was perfect for the atmosphere. I don’t know what’s with the names of the hotel in Shanghai but this one you can find by the name of Art and Romance hotel. The only thing not to our satisfaction was the room temperature water in the shower(not freezing but the showers were invigorating). Since we stayed one night it doesn’t really matter to us, so we didn’t brought this issues to the manager. The room is very pleasant, also don’t expect the good view from windows cause the main thing is the inner space for relax and the small garden with some kind of pagoda which probably is in the process of being restored. The breakfast was Chinese and premade by nice woman. The rice pie was delish. My mom and I really enjoy breakfast and staying at the hotel was very nice experience. We took a lot of pictures inside the garden. Rooms located on the second floor which can be accessed from the street(go upstairs) stairs just near the silk store. And the reception is on the first floor which can be accessed through the passage from the street and from the second floor where the rooms located.

Amazing location, really hard to beat if you want to stay in the historical center of Suzhou. I almost lowered my rating because my river-view room was quite loud at night and I was startled by loud banging on the street below the window around midnight and had to put in ear plugs. But the spot is great and the room is nice too.

Location is strategic, you could easily get food nearby. The room is spacious and nice. Hotel service is good as well, 5 stars for the manager.

Hotel is located at the scenic Pingjiang Road area, enjoyed walking around the area browsing for souvenirs, handicrafts, local snacks and cuisines. Hotel staff & manager are friendly, helpful with good service attitude, though our rooms are located on Level 2, we did not need to worry of lugging them up as the staff helped us to bring them up and down. We love the complimentary biscuits and snacks provided at the reception. The river view room is nice offering us glimpses of living culture as the elderly sat around on stone benches to chit chat, hustle bustle of pedestrians walking around. As the main entrance to the hotel is in a small alley, it will help to ease navigation if you contact the hotel in advance for direction.

My friends and I had a really lovely time here. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully designed, clean and well equipped. There was complementary tea in a tea set which we enjoyed. Free laundry service, with a laundry basket in the room. The location was a good fit for the sights we wanted to see. Our receptionist was helpful and suggested good food options for lunch and dinner.

Very nice hotel situated in the middle of Pingjiang road which is a scenic historical town. The river view room is stunning, it makes me feel like I have gone back to ancient China. The room deco is perfect for Chinese culture lovers.

1 night stay in Suzhou. I like everything about this small hotel. Please don’t bring luggage. U will have hard time carry your luggage to this hotel. Busy road during the weekend. Not much amenities. Nice boutique hotel but I don’t recommend.

Location superb. But as for cleanliness will be bad abit, but overall still good. service good

Pros: Very good location for walking around Pingjiang road. Very handy Suzhou train station pick up service, would recommend utilising for anyone arriving by train. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. Cons: bathroom had a bad smell emanating from it. There was quite a lot of construction happening while we were there, started around 7am and didn’t finish until after midnight. Would recommend bringing ear buds. Shower pressure was ok but not amazing. There is also no elevator so you will need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the rooms which are all on the first floor.

Dark and humid room with a small window from which you can only see the sky. Very disappointing breakfast

Location is great after you find the place. (But heads up taxi wont be able to drop you off at hotel)it's in the old town, not accessible via car. Be sure to have light if coming back late, they lack lighting along alley to hotel. Also no lift, so preferable dont bring heavy luggage. Apart from that, plenty to eat and see. Worth staying, 1 of the top 4 gardens to visit is near by.
