Hampton by Hilton Suzhou Guanqian Street

Everything was really fantastic about this hotel. Excellent location, smack in the middle of Guanqian Street. Hotel is very new, super clean, and corridors are well ventilated with refreshing scented freshener / deodorizer. Housekeeping staffs are extremely good and more than willing to provide extra bottles of mineral water when requested. Breakfast is also highly recommended as the spread and variety of food is very adequate. Highly recommended hotel!!!

This is a great hotel with good service and good location. There is free hotel breakfast. Room is clean.

Everything is above our expectations, warm welcome from the front desk which also constantly ask if any help is needed. Decent buffet spread, new and clean hotel. Location wise is good, walkable to most of the main attractions, located at the main walking street.

Excellent location at Guan Qian Street and it’s located at the street with lots of food n restaurants just next to it. My Favourite 茶颜悦色 just next to it !! :D The rooms n bathroom very clean and the beds are comfortable . The staff are friendly which accomodate our request . Definitely will recommend this hotel !

First the positives: Location is unbeatable, right in 观前街，～15 mins walk to 平江路，～25 mins walk to 拙政园/ 苏州博物馆, also easy access to metro (10 -15 mins walk). Hotel is new, room clean, gym/ laundry facilities good, and breakfast spread solid. Short ＜5 mins walk to the nearest didi pickup point as the area is within the pedestrian street. Overall price value is solid. The only negative I have is that cigarette smell is very present in hotel interiors, even in corridors in hotel guestroom floors (thankfully hotel reception/ restaurant area/ and most importantly the room is okay), at one time noticed a guest smoking right in front of elevators. This is understandably more of a culture thing I presume (more on guests and less on hotel), but cigarette smell is the most obvious out of all the similarly valued hotels (even multiple Hampton by Hilton chains throughout China) that I’ve experienced, which makes the overall experience slightly disappointing. I do understand, however, that the hotel listing does advertise “some non-smoking rooms” available on this platform, so at least there’s some expectation of this going in.
