We absolutely loved our weekend at this hotel. The owner, Jack, was so helpful and speaks good English. He and his daughter met us outside the ancient town to transport our bags and lead the way. He gave us a map of the town and lots of helpful recommendations. The location is perfect - right next to the canal but on a quiet street. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, with air conditioning, complimentary water bottles, and lovely decor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Tongli!

Fantastic place in Tongli. The location is exceptional and the rooms are super comfortable with every ammendity you could ask for. Owner is also super helpful and is available to help with every need. Really recommend this place!

At Tongli metro station, there is a tram that takes one to the beautiful ancient Tongli (Use the bus tab instead of subway for this leg in your app). Upon arrival, after contacting Xu (Lanyun manager), he has been passionately helpful, picking up our luggage as we explore the beautiful town. He was friendly and replied readily to our every need, like recommending good eating places, which definitely helped facilitate our vacation here. The room is more beautiful than the pictures, with its harmonious oriental room design and well coordinating decor and colours. The facilities are adequate to our needs, hot water, wi-fi, clean towels, and decent location. We loved our time here, the pretty courtyard in front of the room, the warmth of the hotel manager, the tastefully design of our room, the vibe of this quiet beautiful old town and the enjoyable boat ride! Upon departure, the manager sent us off in his motor vehicle, beginning and ending this trip hassle-free. Wholeheartedly recommended. (Note: entry to the ancient town is free after 5pm but you won't get to enter a few of the tourist spots and access to all of Tongli during the day. Ticket is 100rmb per adult. )

1. Free pick-up from/to Tongli Water Town Entrance to/from the Mingshu accommodation upon WeChat notifying Arrival time/Departure 2. Given an upgraded Room from 1 Queen Bed (River View) Category that is a bit distance to 1 Single Bed + 1 Queen Bed Type nearer to Water Town Entrance, 3. Patiently waited approx. 1-hr delayed of our arrival at Water Town Entrance affected by heavy traffic, 4. A good location to explore around Water Town, 5. A helpful Mingshu Owner (Jack) who helped to book Cab via DiDi for next destination, 6. Jack also helped to transport luggages & backpacks along with his fast responses to Inquiries, 7. Good thing is the bed comes with Electric heated mattress layer on top of thick Mattress to keep warm for Winter season, 8. This Mingshu is highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Lanyun Courtyard. Jack, the host, was extremely helpful, providing lifts, recommendations and excellent hospitality. The room is extremely clean and beautifully presented: it was a beautiful place to stay while exploring Tongli Ancient town. Highly recommend!

The room is pretty good!! I like the scenery from the room which is nice for couple to stay over. The room is tidy and clean when we first came, the layout of the room is like the ancient Chinese architecture which makes me feel excited to stay. The shopkeeper (Mr. Xu), greeted us affably and served me and my boyfriend as nice as possible as he could. As a foreigner to stay here, I felt a sense of belonging like i was staying in my own house. Overall, I have been staying here for 8 days and I strongly recommend u guys to stay here!!!!! GUYS ITS A MUST TO STAY PLSSSSSS You’re gonna miss smtg if u don’t choose to stay here

I've always wanted to stay in Tongli's ancient town, and this is the ideal site to fulfill that dream. The owner contacted me prior to my stay and picked me up; he also sent me back to the town gate to ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process. The room is clean and pleasant, and it is convenient to eat nearby and visit the main tourist attractions. I had a pleasant stay here.

I had an amazing stay at Lanyun Courtyard Riverview inn. The room is as in pictures and clean, and the owner is very dedicated. Bonus point if you are a foodie, he has great food recommendations around Tongli. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this place for your stay at Tongli ancient town. The location is perfect, close to everything. The room has beautiful views from the terrace to the river. We really appreciate the owner, he helped us with everything, he picked up us and helped us to buy the tickets and he took us to the accomodation. The last day he helped us to reach a taxi and he dropped off us in the main gate. We are really grateful for his help!

Owner was really nice and even picked us up from the gate, providing us with an upgrade and restaurant recommendations. Definitely would stay again

五一假期來到了同裏古鎮住了兩晚，第一晚住的院景房，在古鎮裏比較熱鬧的三橋附近，小院鬧中取靜小巧別緻，房間寬敞明亮，管家服務熱情周到，第二晚因為特殊原因管家跟我商量搬到了古鎮裏靠邊一點的河景房，位置相對僻靜，還可以感受到當地居民的生活氛圍，拖着行李箱走古鎮的路實在是拖着費軲轆提着費力氣，幸好進出都有管家的小車接送，兩天兩個地方住的都很開心

老公蘇州出差順道來同裏古鎮住了一晚，挑花了眼選擇了蘭韻小院，事實證明我的選擇沒有錯！管家老闆騎着三蹦子早早的來門口接我們，扛着箱子把我們送到了小院！臨河的茶座是我最嚮往的地方，沒事就在那坐着放空，太舒服了！房間設施乾淨齊全，老闆面面俱到，什麼都準備好了！也推薦了很多好吃的飯店，下次還會再來！還住蘭韻小院！
