Holiday Inn Express & Suites Surprise

Such a clean room! I felt bad touching it, great night needed away from home. We booked this very last minute & they took care of us when we got there!

Everything was great - cleanliness, staff, breakfast, etc! Special thanks to Doreen, Diana and Johnny for great attitude and service. The hotel is in great condition! Close to restaurants and stores. No fee for parking your vehicle, etc.

I couldn't be more happy with my stay. We had booked a stay at a competing hotel brand and it was so bad that we left that hotel and stayed here instead. What an amazing difference between the two hotels. We called over early and talked to Emily, she said our room was ready, so we headed directly for this hotel. It looks brand new! The neighborhood was fantastic! The parking was great! The staff were all wonderful, especially the front desk. It was clean, bright, and cheery. The breakfast was very nice. We hadn't stayed in a Holiday Inn in years. Believing they may not be up to par to some of the other hotel brands. I was wrong, we would definitely stay here again.

My flight was canceled on September 1, 2023 due to mechanical issues with the plane. Something I have no control over. No other flights going out. This hotel wouldn't refund the money or give me a credit. Going back to Phoenix in October 4-7, 2023 something that my husband and I do often do to his kids living there. Was loooking forward to staying at this hotel but unfortunately we won't be. I refuse to do so after they kept my money. They could've just give me a credit for the one day that was $234 and we could've been more then happy to pay for our additional days to stay with them. I think it's so wrong when you don't have control of the situation. I was where I supposed to been. It's nothing I can do if the plane is having issues. I whether be safe then sorry. So disappointed and truly disappointed because I'm a IHG member. Smdh...

We live in town and sometimes like to get away. Very clean nice hotel. The pool area is great. It’s nice having a bathroom outside so you don’t have to run inside. The room is nice, comfortable bed. Great air conditioning. The shower has dove soap and shampoo. Plenty of towels.

We stayed here because it's within walking distance to Surprise Stadium. Have stayed here before because of that reason & had a good enough stay to come back. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but it has all you need. There's a complimentary breakfast & they also have a small little shop in the lobby. Rates can get high when there's baseball happening, so try to book as far out as you can. Internet can be confusing because of other hotels so close by, so just make sure you're clicking on the right one.

The cleanness level is super nice and the room is very well organized with sufficient space for the guests. The staff are all lovely, friendly and so supportive when everyone else need an assistance. The swimming pool is also pretty good and clean. The breakfast was diverse and included almost everything you nay ask for

I was very impressed with how clean the rooms are at this hotel. A good test is to run a wet wipe along the top of the bed frame and see what comes off on it. Nothing at all very clean not even a spec of dust. Their housekeeping team is top notch. Well done. I will always recommend this hotel.

No surprises here - hotel either new or refurbished as bright modern decor. Quiet room (once the fridge plug pulled and A/C unit shut off). Typical breakfast fare for this hotel chain: heavy on the carbs, sugary buns, passable sausauges/eggs. Glad to see yogurt and fruit selection. Clean room with comfy beds. The neighbourhood is surrounded by playing fields, but no action during our stay thus very quiet.
