Novotel Surfers Paradise anmeldelser

We stayed in a deluxe room. The hotel room was smaller than we thought, especially the bathroom. Although the room had been renovated, the overall condition of the hotel was worse than other Novotel hotels we stayed before. No wonder they have been renovating the hotel since last year. The location was great, right at the Surfers Paradise. You could walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, cafes, fast food, pubs and supermarkets.

Here is the best location in Surfers Paradise. It’s walkable distance to the beach and next to the supermarket.

Although the amenities of the hotel is in old style / old fashion, but overall it’s clean and tidy. The price match the value of the room with ocean view and its location.

Excellent location surrounded by shops and restaurants and next to a tram stop, making it easy to get around the area. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Room was clean, location was convenient as it was in the heart of Surfers Paradise, and parking was also available at a reduced rate.

Location is amazing, can catch 777 line at airport door and then tram and stop at the front of the hotel, shops, restaurants and nightlife all there, pool heated all good! Had a really good time!

Great location with everything close by. A bit dated though, but still comfortable. Staff were great.

I pad for our holiday and Novatel charged me again on top of that, and didn’t let me know, so I paid twice, then I let them know, and they said that it wouldn’t be back in my bank account until next week due to the public holidays, was so not happy.

Check in and out was efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. Their customer service is also commendable and offered us an excellent experience.

Convenient location directly connected to shopping mall with a supermarket at the basement and direct link via the shopping mall to the beach. Hotel is a bit worn out but still serviceable, only problems are lights are not bright enough and there is only rain shower and no shower head for the bathroom.

We had a great stay  The room was cleaned every day The hotel is going through renovations  so pool area wasn’t available all the time carpets needed changing Food was ok coffee machines we hit and miss 

Had a very ordinary experience at the Novotel Surfers. Pro - Clean Rooms Good Location (5 mins to Surfers Paradise beach) Good Breakfast Con - The air conditioning doesnt work - Several people in the review have complained about the same issue. The temprature didnt go under 26 degrees. Poor customer service - We tried calling the reception several times and no one even answered. 2 lifts were not working during our stay - This meant that we were waiting anywhere between 15-20 mins each time for the lifts. Parking - Parking is shared with the mall and can be a bit tight. You may have to also park further away if its too busy. Verdict - Even thought there are some positives, I would NOT recommend this to anyone for a stay especially if visiting in summers.

Location is great. I love the hotel but they definitely should fix their lifts. Waiting for lifts always is not good.
