Waterman Svpetrvs Resort - All Inclusive

We arrived at the hotel after midnight, and there was a member of staff waiting for us just outside to show us where to park and where to check in. The room was spacious, and it was lovely to have a separate bedroom and second bathroom. The Lennox pool is advertised on their website as being heated, and so we paid to go in. The pool felt we were diving into an ice bath, absolutely freezing. We felt like we wasted our money. You also have to pay for drinks as the AI is excluded. The All Inclusive drinks are not good. It's like they are using the cheapest soft drinks on the market. Our son would not drink them, and we found paying an extra 2 euro for the named brand every time he wanted a drink. The alcohol wasn't much better, and again, we ended up paying more for the better drinks. The food was okay. I think the restaurant would benefit from a 'kids' corner' area, whereby there is a children's selection of pasta, chips, nuggets, etc. We booked this hotel for seven nights. However, we checked out just over a day early as we felt the hotel was just trying to 'do everything on the cheap' and we wanted a night in a hotel that felt like an actual four star hotel. On checking out, we were asked how our stay was or the reason for us checking out over a day earlier. None of the staff gave that 'personal experience feeling', and it felt like they didn't really want to be there. I think the hotel is okay for a few nights, but we felt a week was too long. On a positive note, the kids' club staff were absolutely lovely and made our stay a little more enjoyable. We stayed here the last week in May. We wouldn't return to this hotel.

We came to this hotel but wish we had read the reviews first . We booked all inclusive but some of the drinks you still had to pay for like certain cocktails and coffee from the coffee mashine ( latte ext ) the food wasn't that great and as we are vegetarian we found it hard to put a meal together, food was sometimes just warm . Icecream bar closed on sundays . The rooms were clean and the outdoor areas were lovely very pretty outside spaces and a nice walk to the beach . Our room faced the courtyard where people would sit drinking and can be loud sometimes . The area outside the hotel was quite but i think it was because we went beggining of june . We did visit bol on brac island and that was busier more bars and restaurants and liked it there . Unfortunately we would not return to this hotel .

after booking this hotel I tried numerous times to contact the hotel, only 1 email was partially answered. I phoned the hotel and spoke to a very rude person (I recognised the person while we were there as she was just as rude in person, it was a manager, not the one with very blonde/white short hair, the other manager) I became very worried that we had made a wrong decision booking this hotel- so maybe communication is something the hotel should work on so it doesn't put people off booking, we also were not guided as to where anything was on the resort-, what we could and couldn't use and no map to show us around, this would of been very much appreciated. when we arrived we were pleasantly suprised- we had to go back down to reception as the 2 beds for the kids were not made, so we were taken to the snack bar while the beds were made. also had to ask for a kettle which was provided- eventually. the room was great- we had a 1 bedroom suite with balcony room M24, all beds were comfy, room was clean- only thing lacking is anywhere outside to hang clothes/swimwear/towels- I asked for a maiden/clothes airer and was told they don't have them. and nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels, just the radiator and with 4 people this just wasn't sufficient. air con was good (although when on as the balcony is enclosed u couldnt go out as the air con blasts hot air). fridge was rubbish (I needed it to store medication) plenty of plug sockets, some even just being USB ports which is good, the room was cleaned very well by the housekeeping lady. the pool was freezing but to be expected end of may. indoor pool and steam/sauna in the spa was a great little touch, pool is small but fine. Jacuzzi wasn't working and no explanation about this, this was a disappointment. we did pay to use the Lennox pool, but oh my word- the water was freezing- colder than the sea! this could be a great way for the hotel to make extra money and a good pulling power for guests when the weather hasn't warmed the outside pools up- if they invested on heating the water, we paid for 4 to use it but only 1 went in for 5 minutes. it's 12+ so would be great for adults if the water wasn't so cold without younger noisy kids. hotel lobby area and resort was a really welcoming and clean place- I agree with some other reviews about how some bar staff appear to be rude/bored and barely speak, but we just wanted our drinks and then leave anyway so for us this wasn't an issue. the food in the buffet was really good, it's varied every day and always something for even the fussiest of eaters to find something to eat. it was tasty, hot and topped up constantly. Loved the omelette made for breakfast. the Mexican night was a huge hit with us! Just had 1 issues one evening where "pork with onions" was cooked on the live cooking station- the chef was using the same utensil to take the raw pork out of the tray and put onto the grill then used it to put the onions on ur plate, my pork wasn't cooked either

Me and my family have stayed in this hozel 4 times already and have a reservation for this year as well and can't wait to go back and enjoy everything that the resort has to offer. The resort itself is very big, it consists of a couple of hotels, bungalows, apartments... We stayed everytime in the hotel Kaktus and just loved it. We loved it so much, that coulnd't stop talking about the hotel once we got home, so a couple of our friends also made reservations 🙂 The rooms are big enough, we had a balcony, which was very good size for a family of 4. Everytime we had all inclusive offer, unlimited access to food and drinks, so I don't think I have to say that we gained a few kg. The food was good, the drinks even better. The hotel has a tematic dinner almost every night (croatian, mexican, italian ...) which means that the food and the atmosphere is adjusted to the theme of the night. There is all day long enterntainment available, for both adults and children. The enterntainment team is on a next level, they have games for all ages, they try to include evey guest in the games, their good energy is contagious (they are smilling all day long, dancing, singing...). You also have a couple of pools, that suits the youngest children, older children and adults. There are enough sunbeds around everypool, so you can get them also in the middle of the day. If you don't like pools, there is a long beach right infront of the hotel, which has a natural shadow under the pinetrees all day long. The beach is made of concrete, with pebbles in the water and a turquoise coloured water. Really recommend the resort, especially to families.

The hotel area is beautiful, but this is not a four-star hotel. There were eight of us travelling and we had booked two identical rooms. One of the rooms was a lot bigger than the other and had two bathrooms. One room was near hotel rooms that were being renovated and the renovation caused a lot of noise. The rooms themselves were nice, however, there was also a lot of noise coming from the disco or drunken French tourists singing outside the hotel lobby. The staff did not do anything to silence them. One comes to a four star hotel to avoid having to listen to drunken ****** sing in the middle of the night. We were also travelling with small children, thus, in bed early and did not enjoy hearing the disco for hours. The food was not great, same foods were rotated from meal to meal. I was quite dissappointed with the selection. However, fried eggs and omelettes made by the chef were great. Some of the staff members knew very little English and for example the people working at the front desk could not understand what we asked from them on several occations. It would be great if the staff could show you a map of the hotel area upon arrival. They should also explain were we are allowed to go and what is included in the all inclusive. Animation team and Lollo and Bernie team were great and so friendly. We did have a good holiday and did enjoy the hotel, but as said, it did not feel like a four star hotel.

Nice hotel that has a lot to offer and beautiful Supetar, we keep returning here. Grateful to hotel staff for accomodating my request as to parents, thank you! Some suggestions for improvement: We travelled with Ving and had a 7--5-5 meal plan, which means that drinks at the pool are not included. This is perfectly fine as we intended to buy whatever we wanted. The problem though was that those blue and red drinks for children were not sold to non-inclusive guests. And it is difficult to explain to a child why I cannot buy them, but can buy other drinks that they do not want to. So hope hotel can change on this policy, at least as to drinks for children. Also as a suggestion for improvement as to food - would really wish more Mediterranian touch. In 2024 it was a clear change to some general kitchen, so really missed more of Mediterranian cuisine. We are coming back in 2025 and really looking forward to it.
