We have just returned from a break in the Hotel above and are extremely unhappy for the reasons stated below, which unfortunately is not an exhaustive list, just the main points. We have spoken to your representatives at the Hotel and all the guests we spoke to had the same type of issues Accommodation • Room was clean but decoration and fittings to a poor standard • Safe did not work, a engineer did come up a day later, but could not fix it so took it out altogether promising to bring another one back which never happened • Woke up on the 1st morning to find the room flooded, not from any fittings our side as they where dry but appeared to be coming from next door, reported it they did clean it up but when we returned, we had no hot water. Someone came the next day and fixed that issue but 2 days later no Hot water, reported it again but nobody cam till the following day so with HW for 3 days in total. They tried to say it was something to do with the toilet shower head, but it was not that • Coffee and tea not replaced at all during the entire stay • Only 4 coat hangers were provided, when I went down to reception to request more, they said it was their policy only to provide 4 and that they would not provide any more. Food • Extremely bland, tasteless. Chips, vegetables, pizza all cold, meat and chicken were warm but could nowhere near be classed as Hot. Very little selection in what they called the “Pool snack bar” again no quality Staff • The ambience of the Hotel was not good, all seemed to much trouble. All the time we were there we never saw anybody smile or make any contact with the guests. The only thing the staff in the Dining Room where good at is clearing away plates from the table as soon as they thought you had finished and sometimes even before you had finished • One morning we had to get an excursion bus at 7.30am so we asked if we could get into the restaurant to get some muffins/croissants to eat as we got onto the bus this was at about 7.25am we were told in no uncertain terms that the restaurant did not open till 7.30am therefore we could not go in Facilities • No beds/umbrellas were provided for the beach, the ones around the pool were all plastic and no cushions were provided, very difficult it lay/sit on • The so-called Pool Bar was only open at selected times and only when the restaurant was shut. This meant to get a drink you had to walk through the Hotel (in wet clothes) to the reception area where the only other bar was situated • Standard of finish in general all over the site was poor • There was nowhere to sit at a table after dinner or at any other time to play cards and chill I am sure we are not the only ones complaining about this Hotel, and we are extremely disappointed and upset that our Holiday was spoilt by picking Hotel that clearly was not classified correctly by Jet2, but even worse was the management of the Hotel itself.
