Hotel am Wilhelmsplatz

This property scores poorly in every aspect except location. I checked out of this hotel early rather than spend a second night within what can only be described as a dated, poorly maintained, overpriced and disappointing lodging. Accessibility is an issue. The property has 5 floors but only 4 are served by the elevator. Lighting within the corridors was problematic and needs improving. Keys were old style. The rooms themselves are more akin to what one might expect to find within a hostel. They are dated, poorly maintained and the bed was very uncomfortable. Unlike other reviewers, I had no issues with cleanliness. Staff attitude was poor and obstructive. No real attempt to engage with me over the accessibility issue, which was not well advertised in advance. The issues, in their totality, were such that I simply checked out early. Enough was enough. In conclusion, go elsewhere. The property is nothing more than an overpriced disappointment.

I was incredibly disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The rooms were dirty and in a terrible state – the furniture was outdated and partly broken. It’s unbelievable that such poor accommodations are offered at such overpriced rates. The staff were rude and disrespectful, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The service was absolutely unacceptable, and it felt like the well-being of the guests didn't matter at all. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Save your money and avoid the frustration – you’ll thank yourself later.

We are facing a journey from Italy to the North Cape and it is not easy to calculate the arrival times. Today we arrived at this hotel at 9.45 pm and found it closed and no one answered the phone. Shameful. They could write to know. A delay can still happen.

Basic and a bit dated but all good Basic hotel, nice few touches like a fan in the room. Service was great getting us checked in. Not far from the centre of Stuttgart.

Die Gardine hatte ein riesiges Loch, der Griff der Badezimmertüre war komplett locker und die Toilette so nahe an der Duschkabine, dass ich mii im oh dort kaum hinsetzen konnte.

Solide Unterkunft, gute Location. Man kriegt das, wofür man bezahlt hat. Ich bin nur eine Nacht geblieben, würde aber bei Bedarf wieder hier übernachten.
