Apple Tree Lodges

2nd visit yo these lodges and we were not disappointed. My friend and I had a lovely spa day with fabulous treatments while our husbands played golf. Unfortunately the golf course was so busy the 2nd day they came off after 9 holes. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Charlotte who took us to and from our lodge at night time. Will definitely visit again.

We booked this trip some time ago directly with Apple Tree Lodges and the penthouse we booked was of an extremely high standard. What we were disappointed with was the lodge we were booked into. Most of the penthouse units were unoccupied at the time of our visit but were we’re allocated with a lodge with no view of anything (the trees around blocked everything) and part of the balcony was fenced off. The hotel’s published pictures show views from the lodges which certainly is not the situation. I cannot understand why this lodge was selected for us, with others being available effectively taking the edge off what should have been an excellent break. We would also say that whilst we were informed that the lodges were 10 minute walk away from the hotel the access road in some places was in poor condition and need some urgent repairs.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Cox lodge, spacious, clean , comfortable , warm, everything catered for, great attention to detail, even a Christmas tree! Hotel staff excellent, Tom in particular was very helpful in respect of transporting Peter back who has just had a knee replacement, extremely helpful, nominate for staff member of the month!! Food in Lakeside restaurant excellent We shall return

Amazing Accommodation Some of the best accommodation we have stayed in England. Really good value for money and super spacious with all the luxuries you could want.

My Girlfriends and I have just had the most wonderful weekend in Pearmaine Lodge . Everything you need is there and the lodge was very comfortable. Shower cubicle a bit ‘tired’ and could do with regrouting but just a very minor detail. Without exception the staff were all fabulous- so friendly and helpful. Elizabeth in reception, both Ladies in the Spa, William in the bar, Maddy the lovely waitress in the restaurant, a very helpful restaurant Manager who took our complaint about cocktail glasses very professionally and seriously, lovely Liam our mini bus driver (what a great service to have for getting to and from the restaurant!) and the lovely barman in the golf club bar who found us biscuits to go with our coffees after our mammoth walk! All in all a wonderful time was had by us all and we would definitely return and recommend .
