Adorable brookside cottage on the shores of the Penobscot River. This cottage sits on the banks of the muskrat stream that flows out to Perkins cove, spend your days listening to it babble, watching ducks and muskrat. The Sandy Point State Park beach and hiking trails are just a two minute walk down the road. This house has just gone thru a complete remodel and update, paying attention to its quirky and charming features. Relaxing Stay
My stay in Maine was extended so I returned to this lovely spot after only a week’s absence. Of course, not much had changed. Still peaceful. Still cozy and clean. Still managed by an excellent host. Thankful.

Tranquillity
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary over a two week period in a quiet setting alongside a babbling brook, the home of two busy beavers. Our clear evenings were brightened by firefly displays and on an occasional stormy night we were presented with shows of lightning and thunder. And the home is just minutes from a nice public beach. What more can one ask for?
