Enjoy ocean views from the front porch and nearly every room. Comfortable 4BR home (3 BR and open loft BR). Lots of nature to explore so bring your hiking shoes, bicycles or kayaks. This quintessential downeast coastal setting is between Pigeon Hill Point and Petit Manan Point and has scenic walking trails within a 5 minute ride and 2 public access boat launch areas nearby too.
10-15 minutes to local restaurants and groceries in Milbridge.
30 minutes to Schoodic Peninsula in Winter Harbor which is part of Acadia National Park.
75-90 minutes to Bar Harbor.

We had the most amazing vacation and this house played a big part in it. The house is very well maintained and is in a beautiful yet quaint location. 2 bedrooms in the first floor (perfect for elderly travelers) and 2 in the second floor. The kitchen had all appliances and pots/pans and some minimum spices which were all perfect.The Pigeon Hill Preserve is 5 minutes from this house, and that has some excellent hiking trails leading up to the Summit which offers fantastic view of the area.Overall, this was a truly memorable stay.

Outstanding house in Steuben
First, the house gleamed; never been in a rental property so immaculate. It lacked for nothing: towels, bed linens, cleaning and basic cooking supplies and more. For once, didn’t feel that “I should have brought that.” It’s in a tranquil location, unbelievably quiet. neighbours are friendly, property manager always available and responsive.
Great views of the Pigeon Bay, and access that made kayak launching a breeze. The trail access was terrific: we walked from the house to Petit Manan Refuge where blueberry picking was a delight.
Would definitely recommend this property for a Down-East vacation.

Fabulous
This was a perfect place to stay!!! We loved everything about it. The kids would have just stayed and played in the COLD water the whole time.

Quiet Getaway on the Bay
Clean, comfortable and well-equipped house on the bay. Great short hikes within easy walking distance from the front door, good roads for cycling, and nice views just from walking along the bay. Traveling with an elderly parent, we could get out for a couple of hours at a time and leave Dad napping in the chair, yet also spend time with him just sitting, reading books and all the while watching the water. So relaxing.

Beautiful and Peaceful!
We had a wonderful stay. Lovely home, beautiful views, great biking and hiking. The lovely home had everything a person would including a Telescope for viewing the lovely water . Thank you so much. We hope to be back!
