The reviews were so good, raising my expectations. I was very disappointed in the house itself. The word ‘Villa’ is misleading. The house needs work in many places to bring it up to an acceptable standard for high priced rental. The roof in the living room was leaking from the rains, as well as the floor on the main floor bathroom near the tub. The electricity went out in the entire living room one day so we contacted the owner, as instructed if there were any problems. He suggested we were ‘overloading’ the system and said the roof was fixed and didn’t believe me about the water leaking at the bathtub flooring. That bathtub is a big step to get in, so beware. The best part of this property is the pool and view, in my opinion.
