Thalassi Hotel

We have not long got home after 10 days stay very quiet but that is what we were looking for, hotel was clean Eva was very welcoming from the moment we met her.she booked all our day trips and made sure we knew what bus to get, The restaurant was just across the way but they had a mini bus to pick you up and take you across and back again. Trips we went on were Preveli palm beach that was lovely it entailed of 3 beaches on the south coast along the way we stopped at kourtaliotis gorge which lead us to the spring waterfalls then onto a boat trip at the damoni beach lovely day We also went to elafonissi beach it was amazing to say I’ve been there but to long on the coach The restaurant food was ok but I don’t like fish so never tried it soup was home made every night which I tried tomato was my favourite. Dimitri Was very welcoming think he made us eat every dessert he had in his kitchen and there was a lot hahaha views were lovely and we couldn’t leave a holiday without a song and dance so karaoke it was plate smashing think everyone had a ball on the last night of our holiday Eva taught us have to Greek dance , we met some lovely people on our holiday and hopefully keep in touch . But everyone has there opinions on hotels and restaurants but I had no complaints it’s what you make of it. One thing I can say is that each and everyone of the staff from maids to bar staff Eva and Dimitri all work so hard and the hours they put into this family run hotel is amazing well done guys

Just returned from a fantastic holiday. Lovely friendly hotel. I had an emergency with my eye on the 2nd day and thanks to Eva arranging for me to see a consultant I had two procedures all hassle free and received fantastic service. Rooms are lovely, very modern and clean. Restaurant has outstanding views of the ocean and sunset and the owner Dimitri is very attentive as are all his staff. There is a great choice of food too all cooked fresh. Hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and we would definitely return. Thank you once again for your fantastic hospitality

We enjoyed 7 nights here, on half board, and had a great time. The food was good, the dinner especially authentic, and the local area itself gives you that sense of what living Greece should be like. There were two artistic performances at the restaurant during our stay, both quite entertaining. We rented a car, which was essential for visiting Elafonisi and Balos. Both are about a 2 hour drive from the hotel, but worth every mile. The best beaches I've ever been to! We also visited Heraklion, Chania and Rethimno, all lovely. Special shout out to Stefi at the bar for making us feel so welcome. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time at Thalassi hotel. Eva and Dimitri were fantastic hosts and made us feel rght at home. The sun set from the restaurant is something to behold, and the food was great every night. All the staff at the hotel and the restaurant were very attentive nothing was too much, and Stefi at the hotel bar makes the best cocktails!!! There are lots of beaches locally with excellent views and swimming. It really was a perfect week.

We have just returned from a fantastic 10 days at the Thalassi. It is small family run hotel with the personal touch where nothing was too much trouble for Eva. Same story goes for the beach bar taverna where Dimitris would go above and beyond to cater for our girls and the ‘fussy’ vegetarians. Authentic Greek cuisine and entertainment on offer which was amazing.

Lovely hotel. Eva, Dimitri and their team work so hard. Room spacious and very clean with great shower. Buffet breakfast perfect to start your day, a very good choice. The evening meal is a buffet meal which is served down the road from the hotel. I have never had a meal in such a beautiful setting, it really was a wow moment when I first arrived. Stunning sunsets. The food is great and there is something for all taste buds. A great holiday!

Just got back from a week in this hotel with no complaints just compliments. Miss Eva and all the staff were very very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay great. We stayed in a superior room which was very clean, plenty of room and all the facilities listed. Breakfast is held in the hotel plenty of choice from Continental style, fried cereals and fruit. If your half board like we were then the evening meal is held in the Thalassi Restaurant a shuttle bus is provided if you don't fancy the 10 minute walk from hotel to Restaurant. There was always a very personal welcome from Dimitri and the staff at the restaurant with several choices of main course always changed every night so the 7 nights we never had to eat the same course although the soup was so delicious we were more than happy to have the same on 2 occasions. All in all a great weeks holiday was had so thank you thank you both the staff of the Thalassi hotel and Restaurant

Writing this as we are coming to the end of our stay, and we have loved every minute! Holidaying as family We have 2 very young daughters and the owners Eva and Dimitri have been very accommodating throughout which has made our holiday very enjoyable. The rooms are spotless and clean recently renovated. A short walk to the pool area which our we and the children loved, lots of other friendly families and couples here very friendly atmosphere around the hotel. The food at the Thalassi restaurant is fantastic, all homegrown produce with a breathtaking view, we honestly can’t fault the place. We’ve stayed in 4 and 5 star resorts that have had worse food. So we were really impressed with the food here at the Thalassi restaurant. Already pricing up for next year 👍🏼

Absolutely fantastic traditional experience of a family ran Hotel with great cocktails and a wonderful beach front restaurant 200 Mtrs away from the hotel with the most glorious sunsets. Between Rethmynon and Panorma in a quiet spot with two supermarkets close by. A trip to Margaretes pottery village and quad biking a must. Thank you Ellen / Andrew / Charlotte and Saul
