Excellent hotel easy walk from station, breakfast Buffett is superb, everything you could want. Sauna on top floor fabulous with view of the lake, if in Starnberg choose this hotel you will not be disappointed. Will certainly visit again when in the area.

This is the 3rd time at least that we have used this excellent hotel. Previously only for a few nights but this time for 6 nights staying in a Junior Suite with the extra space involved. The room was spacious and comfortable with a generous bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was certainly something to look forward to both for the variety on offer and quality. The hotel is very well maintained and scrupulously clean from what we could see. All the staff were very helpful with the right blend of friendliness and politeness. The hotel is a good centre for touring this part of southern Bavaria by car but also with a frequent S-Bahn link to central Munich. Would I recommend this hotel to friends - absolutely I would.

A seven night stay in a very good, comfortable hotel situated on a busy main road at the entrance to a business park. We had a spacious and comfortable accessible room with a sizeable bathroom and a decent shower. The room included a Nespresso coffee machine with three pods that were replaced daily, as were the bottles of water in the mini bar. On arrival there was also a complementary tray of fruit awaiting us, along with a bar of chocolate and some cashew nuts. The room had everything we needed, including numerous power points, and there was ample room for my partner to manoeuvre her electric wheelchair, All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room rate included an excellent breakfast. There was a live cooking station for eggs etc, and at the weekend a complementary glass of prosecco was provided - a nice touch. We didn't eat in either of the hotel's restaurants in the evening, but we did avail ourselves of the Hemingway Bar menu and room service a few times. This was a limited menu but the dishes were of good quality and the helpings sizeable. My partner's requirements for gluten-free options were well catered for, both at breakfast and when choosing from the bar menu. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

For 200 euros per night one would expect a functioning aircon and better facilities in the rooms. Breakfast is very good but they mix freshly cut fruit with ‘old’ cut fruit, which is not nice and plain cheap for a hotel of this category. There is no handle to help getting our of the bath and the toiletries are mean. Rooms are small. They charge for using their carpark. There is a lovely bar and a very good restaurant with limited menu. Staff is friendly and efficient, apart from someone at breakfast.
