For those interested in visiting in the winter, Vilas rarely gets more than 1.5” of snow and often clears by midday. However, since the driveway is north facing, it receives less sun, so we highly recommend all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles in all seasons. For those interested in working remotely, the cabin has great cell phone service and WiFi throughout the house. The upstairs desk and kitchen table are great spots to work from home. If you are traveling with small children, we provide one pack n play located in the main bedroom closet. We allow guests to bring up to two dogs. We charge a one-time pet fee of $50 per dog. We also provide one large dog crate that is kept in the downstairs master closet if you need to leave your dog home alone.
