Gas fireplace, flat screen television with cable, ROKU and wifi will meet everyones needs. The modern kitchen features granite countertops, custom cabinets, and a fully outfitted kitchen. Large french press, pour over, and conventional coffee makers included along with large 4 griddle waffle maker. There is seating for 6-8 at the dining room table and an additional 6 barstools at the kitchen island.The 1st bedroom is very private and relaxing with a queen bed and is situated on the main floor right next to the beautifully tiled downstairs bathroom. The 2nd extremely large master bedroom is located upstairs with a beautiful Cal King Bed from The Joinery and a sitting area with views of the beautiful Alder and Fir Trees. The 3rd bedroom is also upstairs, albeit unconventional, with four individual full sized beds installed in cozy custom built nooks - each with their own small shelf, lighting, and electrical outlets. Kids love this room and because the beds are full, they can also work well for adults. It is at the top of the stairs of the 2nd floor and considered a shared space for all 4 bunks - It's ideal for folks looking for a relaxed, fun, shared experience with family and friends. This "bunk" room also has a TV with Roku and a comfy couch for those looking to relax out of the main space. It's the perfect spot for the kids while adults are socializing downstairs. There is another generously sized spa like bathroom on the second floor for the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms.Large glass doors from the main living area open up onto a 600 sq. foot Iron wood deck furnished with lounge chairs and Adirondack furniture. From here you can take in the beauty of your private view of the gardens and the forest as your backdrop. There is a brand new Weber BBQ to use. A short walk from the deck will take you to a classic old school steel fire pit like you would find at a campground. We provide one bundle of firewood for use during your stay- you can easily get more from the grocery just 5 minutes away. Please observe all Forest Service rules regarding campfires. This hidden getaway on the banks of the Salmon River has it all. The location is fantastic. Sitting just one mile south of Mt. Hood village on Highway 26 it is close to restaurants and shopping. At the home though, you wouldn’t know it. Surrounded by the enormous pines and lush ferns it feels as though you have been transported deep into the mountains. Whether on the deck, in the hot tub or around the fire-pit, the sounds of the river make for a perfect setting that you will just have to experience for yourself. Ascending up about ten steps from outside the rest of the home and deck enjoys a single level. The entire property has been renovated both inside and out. All new decor and furnishing has been procured to create the perfect blend of style and comfort while you enjoy your stay. The eat-in kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your culinary creations.From the living room enjoy streaming and games while relaxing on the plush furnishing. You can’t help but notice the natural light that flows in. From the windows you can see more the lush landscape and river beyond. The primary bedroom with en-suite bath sits on one side of the house as the other two bedrooms sit opposite. One is a standard bedroom with a queen bed and the other is a bunk room with two twin over full bunks allowing for maximum sleeping flexibility.The manicured landscaping and paths create a wonderful area outside to enjoy. Most that stay, don’t even want to leave the home. However if you do, there are countless trails and other adventures to be had. The Three Nines Golf course is just on the other side of the bridge. Government Camp is barely 13 miles up the road as well. The River Trail Retreat is without a doubt a fantastic spot to base your adventures out of as you explore all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. We truly want you to enjoy your time here and make wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that cannot control their noise level. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10pm until 8am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and noise to a reasonable but enjoyable level.
