Welcome, we are thrilled you are taking time to visit our site. This remote 2.8 acre property sits on over 300 ft of White River bank frontage. Our Bunkhouse has a nice covered deck that is perched above the White River with a bird’s eye view. There is a smaller pavilion below with more seating. The Bunkhouse has three bedrooms with sleeping arrangements for 14 guest. A fully stocked large kitchen, seating for 10 plus TV trays to dine. On the second upstairs floor there is a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. On the lower floor there is a refrigerator, coffee maker, full size bed, and a single bed. The bottom floor also has its own bathroom with shower and outstanding views of the river. In addition, on the bottom level there is a game room with pool table, big screen TV, poker table, and lots of seating. This area has two garage doors that can be opened while guest are watching TV and enjoying games.Our unique grassy landing is located right on the river bank just a few steps from the Bunkhouse. By a few steps, we mean a staircase leads down to the landing that gently slopes to the water’s edge. The landing has a pavilion, wood swings, a boat ramp, grilling area and another fire pit. If someone in your party doesn’t maneuver stairs well, it is possible to drive them to and from the landing below in your own 4X4 or side-by-side. The Bullshoals boat dock is a great place to rent bass boats or house boats as well. Numerous antique stores can be found within a 50 mile radius. Mountain View is known for their down home country charm, their pickin’ & grinnin’ on the square, and Blanchard Springs Caverns, it’s all about 1.5 hours away. Canoeing the famous Buffalo National River at the Point or hiking their well marked trails is a favorite of many local residents. That is about a 40 minute drive. By boat the mouth of the Buffalo River opens up into the White River only a few short miles below King’s Landing. If your looking for more of a challenging hiking situation the Buffalo National Wilderness area has 30,000+ acres, and is only a short distance away. We recommend only experienced hikers and hunters tackle that area because of its rugged terrain. The world famous Branson, MO is also within 1.5 hours with music shows, amusement parks, go-karts, mini-golf, and lots of shopping available. We have the room for your next large gathering. We are thrilled you are taking time to view our rental. It is truly one of a kind on this part of the river. This remote 2.8 acre property sits on 300 ft of White River bank frontage. It has a large master bedroom with a king size bed. Joining the master is a large master bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. This master also has an outstanding view of the river, and opens up onto the gorgeous back porch that sprawls across the entire length of the back of the lodge. The porch can seat 10 or more guest easily, and is a great place to gather. There is a second bedroom with a bed and one single. The lodge has a guest bathroom with its own tub/shower combo. We have two dining tables that will easily seat 8 or more guest. The living area and kitchen have beautiful views of the river and access to the back porch. The living room has a couch, big screen TV, two leather recliners, and two swivel chairs. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook with all new appliances. We call it the “Lodge” because of its stunning hickory floors, and breathtaking views of the White River. There is a charcoal grill, a gas grill, and cook box with a few cast iron pots/skillets for guest staying at the lodge to use. A fire pit is also close by. In the backyard guest will find the river bank just a few steps from the back porch. By a few steps we mean a staircase leads down to the water’s edge. Bring the whole family to this custom log home on a 14-acre slice of heaven in the Ozark Mountains on Arkansas’ famed blue ribbon smallmouth bass stream “Crooked Creek” Just (3) bends upstream from the confluence of the White River. Fish, swim, kayak, snorkel on our 1000’ of creek frontage. The kids and whole family will have a blast. The water level on the creek is constantly fluctuating dependent solely on the rainfall and spring water received upstream. Many times, I have docked my 20’ topwater boat below the house (spring). Others we have kayaked from the lower access off HWY 101 back to the house (late spring, early summer). And other times we just enjoy swimming and snorkeling around the natural springs that feed the creek and wade fish (late summer). Ranchette White River access is about (4) miles down the road, so bring your boat if you’d like to trout fish, or we can put you in touch of one of the many guides in the area that can pick you up right at the ramp according to the bite. House accommodations state 12, and that is utilizing (1) person on the pull out couch in the game room and (1) person on the log futon in the Master bedroom. please contact host if you have more, as we always try and accommodate. House is approx. 4000 sq ft with (3) levels. Large soaker tub/glass tile shower in the master bath, (6) person hot tub on the lower level. This log home is at the very end of the road and behind a locked gate, it is very secluded. Fishing is stated as “catch and release” as we are in a smallmouth bass trophy zone. Cell service is low (1-2 bars), but we now have Starlink WIFI, and it has been exceptional! We have been on face time, streaming 4K, email, social media, etc.! So, if you need to work remotely, you should have no problem, we even have a dedicated office area with additional HDMI dell monitor!
