Girdwood brewing is a 7 minute walk, (3 if you cut through the meadow!) Alyeska resort of course provides the best of Alaska resort skiing and also backcountry/heli-skiing adventures nearby. Winner creek is a great hiking trail in the summer. If you don't mind some vertical elevation, the North Face Trail is open in the summer and rewards you with great views of the turnagain arm mountains. For sleeping accommodations, the upper loft (accessible by small ladder) will sleep two individuals comfortably as there is a twin bed to the left wing of the left, and also a twin bed to the right wing of the loft. Adjoined to the laundry room area, there is an additional loft area with another twin bed, also accessible by small ladder. The outdoors boasts the quiet, nature feels of Girdwood, Alaska.
