Welcome to Point View 2.0, our newly built lakefront home conveniently located in the heart of McHenry and all of the area's many attractions. Our home is built on the former site of the famous Point View Inn, with breathtaking views of Deep Creek Lake and the surrounding mountains. Our brand new outdoor space includes a fire pit area, gigantic patio with hammock chairs and patio furniture, hot tub and covered grill station with surrounding bar seating.Our property is a single family home setup like a bed and breakfast with the owners quarters upstairs and the lower level as the separate guest space. We won't be serving freshly prepared breakfast but we will provide a welcome basket with some goodies for you to enjoy. This listing is for the lower level of the house which has a separate entrance, parking, full size laundry, kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Also includes use of our private dock, rear patio, hot tub and grill station, backyard and fire pit. The lower level has 10 foot ceilings with tons of windows, natural light and amazing lake views from the kitchen/dining area and main living space as well as from each of the 4 bedrooms. The two master bedrooms each have king size beds and the other two bedrooms each have double over double bunk beds.Guests have private and exclusive use of the entire lower level of the home (other than a small locked mechanical room and owner's closets in the master bedrooms, which have closet wardrobes for guest use), as well as the rear patio area under the deck (with hammock chairs and patio furniture), including the hot tub and the adjacent BBQ area. Guests also have private and exclusive use of the lakefront backyard (with hammocks in the trees) and firepit. The dock may be used by guests to moor one jet ski or one power boat and launch unlimited kayaks, paddle boards and other non-motorized vessels. If you're planning to bring your own boat or jet ski (or to rent one for more than a day), please reach out before booking and let us know so that we can make sure that we can accommodate the vessel and any trailer that you plan to bring during the dates of your stay. One slip on the dock will be used by a boat owned by a friend of the hosts, who may briefly cross through the yard occasionally to access and use their boat during your stay. Otherwise, the dock is reserved for private and exclusive use by our guests. There is a marina right next door with watersports rentals available (and several other marinas in the area as well).We have a guest parking area just outside the fenced area on our property exclusively available for guest parking (there are guest parking signs indicating where you should park). If you use a white bath towel from inside and it is stained or damaged, there will be a $25 fee per each towel damaged. - Please use the hot tub responsibly and make sure that you shower before entering the tub and minimize grass and lotions that can cause build up. The hot tub is serviced after every guest. If the hot tub needs to be drained and refilled due to excess grass/scum in the tub, there is a $50 fee as that is half of what we are charged. - Photo ID may be required upon check-in - NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 4 exterior security cameras that are continuously monitored facing the driveway, entrance, and facing the sides of the house.
