Silverwood Theme Park is also only about a 30-minute scenic drive away, making it a fun destination for families and guests of all ages.After a day of exploring, relax in our spacious 6-person saltwater hot tub while enjoying the fresh mountain air and beautiful Idaho skies. Inside, the home offers plenty of space to gather, including a large basement game room with arcade games, air hockey, ping pong, foosball, darts, and other entertainment for kids and adults alike.The chalet comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests with flexible sleeping arrangements. The upstairs and downstairs bathrooms have recently been renovated with modern updates to provide extra comfort during your stay.The basement includes a laundry area with complimentary laundry soap and fabric softener, a small workout space with dumbbells and a foam roller, and a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair for guests who need a quiet place to work. The entire home, including the basement, is yours to enjoy.For additional sleeping space, the basement includes a futon with a mattress topper for added comfort. An air mattress is also available as an alternative option.Sandpoint is a special place surrounded by three mountain ranges and the beautiful Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho’s largest lake. Guests can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, wildlife viewing, and many other outdoor adventures. During winter, Schweitzer becomes a true mountain playground with skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and scenic chairlift rides.Downtown Sandpoint offers wonderful local restaurants, shops, galleries, live music, theater, and charming cafes. Be sure to visit places like the historic Panida Theater, Cedar Street Bridge Public Market, and local favorites throughout town. Sandpoint also hosts many seasonal festivals celebrating music, food, art, and the outdoors.Please note that trains do pass near the chalet, with occasional horns during both daytime and nighttime hours. Large indoor and outdoor tables were designed to support lots of seating for meals. The kitchen comes with the newest appliances. Enjoy the two different types of speciality ice cubes in the new Samsung Bespoke fridge. Relax on the large sectional to enjoy a movie or just take in the views. A full guest room with a king size bed can be found on the 3rd floor when you enter from the garage or front door. This level also has a full bathroom and laundry room. The 2nd floor offers a bedroom for everyone. From the master bedroom with a king sized bed and large walk in closet to our delightful bunk room featuring a queen size bed with a twin above as well as another twin bunk bed. This room also has an ensuite bathroom which is ideal for families wanting to share a room. Two other guest rooms are also on this floor with queen beds and custom closets. A shared bathroom is also available on this floor. The lower level offers more fun and entertainment with another bunk room. Another TV room for movie nights and a full kitchenette. This level leads out to the lower deck with our large gas fire pit that overlooks the lake. An additional full bathroom is also on this level. Every bedroom comes with custom automatic black-out blinds to ensure a great nights sleep. Right off the deck you can soak in our new bullfrog hot tub or head straight down to the water. We cannot guarantee this home is pet hair free or allergy free. **NOTE: Each year on September 18th or the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks.
