"Il resort La Melosa si trova a mezz'ora di strada da Montalcino, è facile arrivare e la strada da percorrere è piacevole.
l'accoglienza di Carolina è impagabile, ci ha messo subito a nostro agio, facendoci strada alla nostra stanza, molto pulita, tutto in ordine, location perfetta, prato tagliato, piscina stupenda con le sdraio in abbondanza. La nostra finestra della camera (lavanda) affacciava sul fronte resort, su una vallata da mozzafiato.
abbiamo goduto della spa, facendo un rigenerante idromassaggio con dei drink, lo consiglio vivamente, fantastico.
La colazione è buona, abbiamo goduto della veranda sulla piscina. la selezione era sia dolce che salata in abbondanza, succhi di frutta, yogurt e la tipica mantovana. suggerisco allo staff di inserire dei cornetti con la farcitura all'interno.
inoltre gli animali sono ben accetti, noi abbiamo portato il nostro cagnolino.
a pochi passi dal resort, c'è il ristorante, cui noi abbiamo avuto modo di cenare, prenotando il giorno prima con un menù fisso.
purtroppo quando siamo arrivati il menù era strato stravolto senza avvisarci, tutto diverso, alla richiesta di alternativa ci sono state delle difficoltà, come se la cucina non fosse preparata ad accogliere delle richieste diverse, senza pensare che le persone possano essere allergiche o intolleranti ad alcuni cibi.
il servizio ha avuto delle mancanze, la cameriera era sola e si è dimenticata alcune cose, nulla di grave. per il resto ciò che abbiamo mangiato era davvero buono.
Consiglio questa location a chi si vuole riposare, a chi vuole staccare la spina per rigenerarsi, chi vuole evadere dalla città per stare a contatto con la natura, a chi come me ama il vino e vuole fare un'esperienza vinicola nei pressi di montalcino. (non consiglio di mangiare in location se avete delle aspettative molto alte)
