We keep our road plowed so it’s usually in good shape but winter storms can happen during these months.The two best things this mountain has to offer is the stars on a clear night and the sun rises up behind the view and is one of the most beautiful things you'll see all year. When the sun rises it allows you to see just a little further than during the day. Mushroom Trail 🍄 is now open and free to all guests. It features over 60 different giant mushrooms, giant flowers, and a large natural sandbox to give your little ones something to do. This recently designed 3 level log home features an open floor plan where the kitchen, dining area and living room seamlessly blend into each other. Lots of light is provided through the two story high windows and a huge wraparound deck and covered porch are easily accessed for outdoor dining. A stone fireplace with a pellet stove makes for cozy winters and above the fireplace whilst an authentic Black Bear watches over you. The kitchen of course is fully equipped with everything you would expect and the furniture in the living room is very comfortable. Towards the back, you will find the Master Bed Room with a queen bed. It connects to the Master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, toilet and a double vanity.The house offers easy access for those with moderate mobility problems, as we installed a gently sloping ramp between the parking lot and the front door.Upstairs, you will find two bed rooms, each with two twin beds. One of the two bed rooms has private access to the full bathroom with separate toilet, shower tub and double vanity. At the front of the house, there is a loft for relaxing with extensive views. On the lower level, you will find another bed room with a queen bed. The bathroom has a tiled shower, toilet and sink. The Family room offers a comfortable two seat sofa, a couch, an easy chair and a 42 inch TV. At the back of the cabin, there is a picnic table, fire pit and a park style grill. Sliding glass doors lead out to wrap around deck, with tranquil views over woods. Upstairs are three bedrooms with queen sized master bedroom and en suite. The three remaining twin bedrooms share a second upstairs bathroom. Downstairs is a basement bedroom with two twin beds. Outside at the back of the house is a picnic area, BBQ and fire pit, secluded at the edge of the forest. Cabin includes gas wood burning stove, wifi, cable tv, dvd player and washer and dryer units. The cabin is located just outside the 4,000 acre Pipestem State Park and a five minute drive to the zip line tour (9 zips), water park, 18 hole championship golf course, 9 hole golf course, tennis, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, mountain biking, hiking (13 trails) white water rafting, fishing, horseback riding, and rock climbing. Pipestem lodge with three restaurants is only a five minute drive. In winter, enjoy cross country skiing and sledding in the park and Winterplace Ski Resort is only 30 miles away.
