A magical place in the heart of the Triglav national park. A cosy, peaceful, off-grid rental for true nature lovers. Elderflower house lies in a meadow plato between mountains, looking to the sun. It is in a central part of the Triglav national park. Here you can enjoy silence, dark nights with millions of stars, unspoilt nature all around and clear water from a mountain spring . It is a perfect starting point for mountainering. The trail which leads to the mountains is siutable for children as well, but higher you can enjoy real alpine trekking also with hired alpine guide. From the valley, where you must park your car, leads a trail to the house. You will Walk about 15 to 20 minutes on foot to reach the house and make 150m altitude difference. That will give you a complete tranquility, as there are no roads and no traffic nearby. The house has solar panels which is enough for lights and charging your phones. The House Has No Warm Water. If you need warm water you can warm it up on the stove. One stove is upstairs and another in the lower floor, where there is also a kitchen, dinning room and a little bedroom with one bed. Upstairs is a loft perfect for hanging out and relaxing while overlooking the amazing scenery outside. Down in the basement is another toilet. In the garden outside is a solar shower, where you can wash yourself with water heated by sun and enjoy beautiful view on the mountains during your refreshement. Please be aware that in extremly dry summer the water supply my be limited, if this happens guests cannot take showers. The house is heated by wood. You will have the whole house for yourself with a private garden and relaxing spots all around it :) Downstairs is an equiped kitchen, a dinning room and one bedroom. Upstairs is a common space, wuth kitcenette, 4 matresses for sleeping and a toilette. Above this is another smaller nice place for sleeping. One more toilet is down in the basement. Airports close by include Trieste (1 hour 30 mins), Ljubliana (2.0 hours) and Venice (2.5 hours). The house is in the Baca Valley, which is famous for fly fishing (subject to permits). Lake Bled is one hour away by train (5 minutes walk to the station). The longest zip-wire in Europe is near Bled! Ljubliana, Postojna Caves, White Horses of Lipica and the Sea-side at Piran, Portoroz and even Venice are close enough for day tripsThe Soca valley is THE destination for extreme water-sports (Kayaking, white water rafting, canyoning etc) so lots to do for teenagers and the young at heart!The Soca and Baca Rivers are famous for fly-fishing subject to licenses from the Tolmin fishing club.This is a large property (350 sq m) with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There are three terraces, all facing south, two for BBQ's and one for the swimming pool. The house has recently been fully restored to a very high standard. The main living room is 45ft long with a bar, seating area and original barn doors and beams, which is great for parties. The kitchen is huge with a central island and Italian ceramic flooring leading to a large patio with outdoor furniture overlooking the river. There is a (2020) Panasonic 4K internet TV so logging in to your Netflix of Amazon account is easy. Their is also a 42" TV', WII and Playstation downstairs. Food and drink locally, is excellent and surprisingly cheap. There is central heating for the winter months. We provide all bedding, towels and beach towels.There are four new (2024) Laura Ashley pocket sprung mattress' (Two King size and two doubles). The en-suite bathroom for bedroom one has been completely renewed.Being rural you need a car. There is a railway station in the village that can take you to Bled (in an hour) and in the other direction to Nova Gorizia (45 minutes). Trains in Slovenia are incredibly cheap. The apartmant has a bedroom , kitchen, dinning room, bathroom. The uper place in the house is not in use, so you are alone and have all privacy. All around the house is a beautifull meadow, a forest 1oo m away and a emerald river Soča 2oo m away. A nearby shop is about 4oom away There is also a bar with wifi. A distances to Bovec is 15 km. It is a peacefull place, with dark nights and beautiful stars. It is perfect place to start mountaineering,biking, kayaking or walking. If you like peace and being in the nature, that is a good place to be. While Bovec is getting so busy in the summer, Soca is a better place to relax. Have a dinner outside enjoying songs of crickets and calming sound of Soca river flowing by. Look at the sky observing running clouds and changing lights on mountain walls. Lit a candle and wait for the stars.....you will see many... maybe you will be lucky to see some shooting stars- make a wish! Calm, nature around, good starting point for hikes, kayak,rock climbing, relaxing on a sandy beach of Soca river. When you came, you can park under the wooden structure. There is a meadow all around a house . Nearbay the house is a big place with a meadow sourounded by fence. You can sleep there or you can bring a tent to play . We live in Bovec so on the property you have peace and privacy. We will meet with you the first day and explain you about some hikes around. If you are interested in some guided activities, we can take you on many adventures. We don't like mass tourism so we guide small groups individualy.
