Our bunkroom has two sets of bunkbeds with 4 full sized mattresses, television and DVD/VCR player which can be rolled to other rooms in the house. The bathroom in the sleeping area includes a bathtub/shower while the 2nd bathroom off the mudroom/laundry room has a standup shower. The laundry room consist of full size washer and dryer. So even if you ended up in a rain storm while out floating, biking, hiking or diggin' for crystals, you can duck in the shower straight from the laundry. No insulation except newspapers. She cooked on a wood stove every day and used an outhouse until they added on an indoor bathroom. She had a garden, chickens and milk cows so all the neighbors came to her for their eggs, produce, milk and butter. When I was thinking about a name for the house, I made the comment that even though it was 1980’s retro, Pearl would have thought it was a palace.
